This customer service here is a joke, at best! I bought a Hon chair here late last year. Great chair, great price, but it leaned slightly to the left (I felt it, my chiropractor felt it, even the guy that was supposed to repair the chair (Kirby) said he felt it). They offered me a different chair, my money back, or they could order parts and repair it... I chose the repair since I really liked the chair. They've had the chair since March (it's now Sept), and every time I called, I was told they were still waiting on the parts. So the Thursday before labor day, I called and spoke with Bill (who we'll learn later, is a complete jacka$$). I told Bill I needed the serial number off the chair and the order number for the parts, and I'd call Hon and do a little leg work myself. He said he'd call me back either later that day or the next day... that was a week ago. Today I called back, asked for Bill, and then was treated to one of the most unprofessional displays I've ever experienced. Bill told me that the chair had been delivered to a local business (they suggested we use for that location for my convenience since their store is a bit of a drive). I was a bit taken aback, since it appeared the chair was fixed. He then put me on hold, came back several times to tell me to wait a while longer, and then after 5-10 mins, to tell me that it hadn't been fixed, it was still at the store, but they were just going to return it to me as is. When I asked if they couldn't get parts, Bill's voice started to get shrill and he told me that the parts were on order but that there was a note on the chair that said to simply return it to me. By then I was thoroughly confused, because I'd never asked them to return it, I wanted it fixed. Now remember, all I was doing today was calling to get the info he was suppose to call me back with a WEEK earlier. So when I mentioned that, and the fact that it had been a week since he told me he'd call me back, and all I wanted was the serial number and order number so *I* could call Hon, he started yelling (yes, yelling like a shrill woman) and telling me to not be condescending to him. I'm not really sure how that's condescending, but he repeated several times. He then told me to come pick up the chair. I told him I wanted it fixed and he reiterated that they weren't going to fix it... they were done with the chair. I told him I thought it was unprofessional to yell at a customer to which he responded that I was being unprofessional. Again, I'm not how sure I'm being unprofessional, since I'm the customer, and unprofessionalism is usually associated with an employee, but whatever. Finally I told him I just wanted my money back and he said I could come pick it up... It's almost as if he wanted to fight; he repeatedly gave me the address (105 W Main St... which oddly isn't the address listed on Yelp), and kept telling me he'd be there. I told him I'd love to come get my money but that I was out of town in Northern Va, and he said they'd mail me a check. i wonder if I'll get it in 5-6 months? Now THAT'S condescending! So to recap, I bought a chair that I used for about 2 months (covered by a lifetime manufacturers warranty I believe), discovered that it leaned, took it to them to fix, they kept it for 5-6 months supposedly waiting on parts, and when I simply call back to get info that this jacka$$ was supposed to call ME with a week earlier, *I'm* condescending and unprofessional and he feels like he has to yell? I've never had an employee of ANY company act like such a complete and utter jacka$$, and yes, that's exactly what he was. All I wanted was info so I could possibly help get the parts they were waiting on, but instead, I have no chair, and a check that's 'in the mail'.
