I have only seen The Park at Park MGM Hotel in Las Vegas during the night. I came here to admire the beautiful Bliss Dance 40 foot tall dancing woman sculpture. It's a beauty especially when it is lit up in the evening. Since I've only been here at night, I can only describe it as how I saw it during my visit. It is a lovely and beautiful space with good amount of outside seating with restaurants around. T-Mobile Arena is right across from this park. Luke's Lobster, Hello Kitty, and Beerhaus are within this area. You can have a nice lunch and chill afterwards. Do check the restaurant business hours prior to coming here. When I was here, they were all closed, but then again, I did come at night. I would love to return to The Park so I can see it in broad daylight and grab a quick lunch at Luke's Lobster and dessert at Hello Kitty. read more

The Park between New York New York and Park MGM is a nice little breather in the middle of all the Strip chaos. It's refreshing to step outside, get some fresh air, and remember that Vegas technically exists outdoors too. The location is super convenient if you're heading to T Mobile Arena or the Dolby Theatre, and there are plenty of solid spots to grab a drink or a bite without committing to a full casino experience. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit if it were a standalone destination, but as part of the Strip it works really well. It's a calm, welcome pause button before diving back into the bright lights and noise. read more

Frank comes to this park for NHL pre-game partying. Yes, it starts right here prior to entering the hallowed ice center. Nothing more rewarding than hoisting a pint to my team THE KRAKEN with fellow friend and fans and quenching your thirst with a frosty pint of beer in the outside heat of the day. Also it's a great gathering area to wander while waiting to enter. Several beer pubs and a Hello Kitty stand and pop up hockey stands for swag on game days. The rump on that statue is sexy and a wonderful place to landmark should you be meeting someone for the game. GO KRAKEN and will consume another day. read more

However, you do end up travelling there every once in a while, whether it's to meet up with out-of-towners, check out a hip restaurant, or go to an event at T-Mobile Arena. However, The Park is quite lovely and is a beautiful respite from the Strip, on the Strip. There is a good amount of restaurants around so you can pretty much get anything you want to eat. A park on The Strip (Las Vegas)... Located between New York New York and Park MGM, this little oasis starts from Las Vegas Boulevard and ends at the T-Mobile Arena. As of January 2019, the restaurants along the way are Beerhaus, Bruxie, California Pizza Kitchen, and Sake Rok. (There are chairs and tables for outdoor dining!) The sculpture, Bliss Dance is also here. It lights up after the sun goes dow! I liked the lights in the trees, the water feature with changing colors, and the use of desert climate plants! I also enjoyed the live music from the band, Status! What a cute park! It really beautifies the space between hotels and casinos! I'll probably be back! read more

Review #199 - 2020 Every time we're in Vegas during the holidays, I try to make my way here because the Christmas decorations are so nice and inviting. Most of the decorations are similar to the previous years, but they change it up a little here and there so it's not exactly the same every year, at least from the times that I've been here. I'm not sure if they add more to it as it gets closer to Christmas, but it seems like it's not as festive when we come around Thanksgiving time. However, when we were here in December, it was super festive! There are plenty of restaurants to dine at & so much to see and do in the surrounding area that you can never get tired of coming back year after year. Of course, my girls love walking over to the M&M store across the street after we're done taking pictures; but sadly, this year they close at 10 PM instead of midnight, probably due to COVID, so we didn't get a chance to make our way over. read more

If you don't feel like walking through this place then at least drive down the avenue. It's an area you'd like to show off to your visiting relatives. And if you have little nieces or nephews that haven't yet passed out asleep from being at the arcade, this is a cool area to sight see. Bruxie and Shake Shack are family friendly restaurants to eat at, located right in this part of the strip. Don't be grumpy and tired yet kids. Imagine lush green grass, a little jungle gym for your weetots to play on, fluffy dogs chasing each other... Well you must not be in Vegas because that park ain't this park! The Park is one of the latest MGM creation to go along with the T-Mobile Arena and sits just across the street from Monte Carlo's (soon to be rebranded and renamed as Park MGM) Park Theater. Food and beverages places line The Park on one side and a cool entryway into New York New York can be entered through here. Walk through some fun water features, listen to some live music, and don't forget to see the gigantic "Bliss Dancer" sculpture by Marco Cochrane. The Park is a great little space to walk around or to have a seat. It's a nice break from all the noise from The Strip while still being on Las Vegas Blvd. read more

Such a beautiful place to walk through in the morning before the crazy hustle of the strip. Vegas is a place for tourists and photo ops anyway, but the park gives it a nice little greenery and break from buildings and casinos. There's quite a few restaurants, bars, cool water features, a Hello Kitty pop up truck, and a life size chess game along this pathway. Dogs are allowed on the strip before noon so I took my little pup on a stroll here looking for Crack Shack. If you are headed in that direction, stay on the strip since that's the entrance is located. read more

If you're around the NYNY or Monte Carlo (soon to be Park MGM) , you've gotta wander through The Park. It's just a great space and a welcome addition to the adjacent casinos. The water features are the highlight, in my opinion, and they create a sense of calm amidst a bustling area. And I love the waterfall walls, they can be cooling when it's 120 degrees. The area is sorta the gateway to T-Mobile arena and the Park Theater, and it's nice to have the option to dine at The Park before seeing a show. Dining options include Beerhaus, Bruxie and Sake Rok. One nice perk is the "Party at the Park" on Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 5 pm. $5 drinks are the draw, as well as live music. And of course the Park Theatre has a variety of musical acts and comedy shows. Bringing a "park" like setting to the Strip is a great use of space! read more

Newer addition to NY NY outside the resort. It is supposed to be like Central Park or an outdoor city park with vendors and places to sit and eat. It is very pretty. I loved walking up and down the area. I really liked the 911 Memorial tribute. Or at least I think that is what they were going for with one of the water displays. This is a great relaxing stop for some food ( Shack Shake anyone? ) and to relax your tired walking feet. read more

"Ch-ch-changes..." What a difference a year makes since we were last on Las Vegas' Strip. We remember walking along S Las Vegas Blvd between the Monte Carlo and New York New York casinos seeing huge construction dust barriers and being shoved off the sidewalks by crowds and wondered what was going on. But, as our ride share drove us to the entrance of the Monte Carlo resort, we were surprised to see The Strip's FIRST Park. The Park is an outdoor entertainment/restaurant extension of the MGM's New York New York property with dining spots such as Shake Shack, Bruxie, California Pizza, Beerhaus and Sake Rok. It's punctuated by Marco Cochrane's enormous and graceful sculpture "Bliss Dance" and the new T-Mobile Arena. Across the street at the Monte Carlo is the Park Theater which headlines major musical artists such as Cher, Bruno Mars and Ricky Martin. So, this Park is not a green space for picnicking or lazing under the shade of trees or grassy areas but it is working its way to becoming The Strip's new Amusement Center. read more

This is an incredible part of the strip that feels like something of a getaway. There are lots of restaurants and bars along the Park as well as a handful of shops and bars. It also grants you access to the New York New York "campus" and the T-Mobile Arena. The rock waterwalls are my favorite as walking through them is such a tranquil experience! An upscale food court with *Fingers Crossed* a professional hockey or basketball team playing a mere 100 yards away. Parking so far was pretty easy, definitely come in from Frank Sinatra and go up the parking ramp just south of the Arena. From there you can either go through the NYNY and enter on Las Vegas Blvd., or walk down the stairs of the parking structure and walk across Park Ave. to access The Park from the west end, near the main arena entrance. Basic, but tasty food options all line the street and point you in the direction of the T-Mobile arena. I suggest getting a beer at Beerhaus and a bite at Bruxie before entering the arena to save a few dollars. Beer and waffles = :) Excited? Yes! Vegas really needed something a little different than the normal boutique celebrity restaurants, the second-hand smoke clouds and fanny packs that tend to adorn the Strip. Will it better or equal to Staples? We shall see. read more

On April 4th, 2016; the Park debuted on the Las Vegas Strip. The Park is a 2-acre shady oasis joining NY-NY, T-Mobile Arena, and Monte Carlo that will soon be rebranded and renamed in June (https://m.lasvegassun.com/vegasdeluxe/2016/jan/04/monte-carlo-rebranding-draws-celebrity-chiefs-stri/ ). After months of watching the progress on the Park and T-Mobile Arena project, I finally got to expore it yesterday. When I visited the Park, it was an incomplete Park. At the time of my walk in the park, its northern border at the transitioning Monte Carlo was a construction site. Hammering was the soundtrack noise and will remain so until the Monte Carlo project is complete. Once the construction is done and the Monte Carlo is renamed and rebranded, the Park will be the soundtrack of chirping birds. The Park is the Gateway to the T-Mobile Arena. It is a pedestrian space similar to the Linq. The difference is that one connects to a ferris wheel and the other to a 20,000 seat arena. The Park captures the architecture of the Arena from the distant vista at the Las Vegas Strip entrance to the close-up at end of the park. The Park also captures the architecture of New York City. When I glanced up toward the cotton candy clouds the Empire State Building and New York skyline towered above. Near the T-Mobile Arena end of the Park, the gardens of prickly pear and bravertail cacti make a nice garden spot to sit in the shade and take in New York City. This is a visual extension of NY-NY. The 2-acre oasis resembles a New York City plaza more than Central Park. The T-Mobile Arena reminds me of Madison Square Garden. The Monte Carlo could be any ordinary high rise in New York City. It is fitting that they renamed Monte Carlo Drive to Park Avenue. Inside the Park, the cement plaza is interspersed with around 75 trees, xeoroscaped gardens, shade structures, tables, and water structures. Public art also adorns the landscape. The landmark is the Bliss Dance sculpture, which is a towering woman in the nude. This is the prime picture taking spot in the Park. The Bliss Dance stands in the shadow of the T-Mobile Arena. There are a couple of restaurants and zero shops adorning the Park. There is no comparison to what the Linq offers. All the restaurants are on the NY-NY side. Currently on the Monte Carlo side there is Park Avenue and the construction site. As soon as I stepped off the Strip into the Park, there was Shake Shack. As I walked deeper, my eyes took in Brixie Chicken & Waffles, Beer haus, California Pizza Kitchen, Sake Rak, and additional entrance to NY-NY. For the record, Beer haus has the honor of being the first beer hall on the Las Vegas Strip. As far as atmosphere, MGM the owner of the Park is adamant about keeping it clean. The con artists, beggars, costume characters, and riff raff are unwelcome. I noticed a lot of alert security guards patrolling the grounds. I am optimistic that this is going to be a safe resting place. The Park came at the end of the era. At the time of this writing the neighboring NY-NY and Monte Carlo (until June) are charging to park. The latest I hear is that on T-Mobile event nights from 4 to 11 it is $20 to park and there is an online discount that brings it to $10. The joke is that this is the (Pay to) Park. Just like the Las Vegas Strip, the Park is in a state of transition. In this incomplete state where the Monte Carlo side is a construction site, I Park a three star rating on the newest attraction adorning the Las Vegas Strip. read more

You can also enter into the New York New York as well. There are lots of decorations of the Golden Knights hockey team. There are places to sit down at. Overall it was a nice place to see and to walk through to get to the T-Mobile Arena. If you are a local I see this place as hang out spot especially during the hockey season. read more

I am a fan of the Park but I will be more of a fan when the weather becomes a bit cooler. I walked through the first day the Park was opened to the public and it had an unfinished quality because there was some more work to do. Yesterday, it seemed finished. There were a number of cooling areas where there are hanging misters so the 100 degree heat is more tolerable for those not used to triple digit temperatures. It isn't a standard park--something with grass and perhaps swings for kids. Rather it's a place to sit in several areas and I was pleased to see some people playing a game of bean bags and enjoying themselves for what the place is supposed to be. In the center is the sculpture Bliss Dance. I need to stop by at night and see it lit. I saw it on the news but I need to go back and see it in person. It's also meant to deliver traffic to the restaurants and bars that line the south side of the Park adjacent to the NY NY Hotel and Casino. If you're walking from a Strip hotel to the new arena for an event, this is one way of getting there. While normally I'd rate this 3 stars, I really liked the vibe last night and I'm sure the Park will become a more welcoming place as it matures and as the weather cools. read more

The Park is kind of an open area, or "park" next to, well, The Park MGM. It's kind of a reprieve from the craziness of the strip and relax in a cute park setting. While there isn't much in terms of greenery here, it is a nice place to take a load off and rest your feet. It's not a large area, but it kind of intersects between the T-Mobile Arena, Park MGM and even New York, New York. There is a sculpture or two here, so at least you'll find something fun to take photos at/or or update your social media accounts with. But truly, I feel like this place is a land filler. There is no real reason to "go here". Walk by it and stop, sure? But you're not going to go on TripAdvisor or even Yelp and find rave reviews of this place. It's merely a place where they probably didn't know what to do with the space so they made it a hip-park area that only Vegas knows how to do. There is really, again, no reason to stop here or make a special trip here, but if you're staying at the Aria, New York, New York, or the Park MGM, I'm sure you're going to run into it, or walk through it at some points so take a gander, spend two minutes there and move on to your next, more fun adventure, but this won't be it for you. read more

Talk about an oasis in the desert. The Park is like an oasis in the middle of the Vegas Strip. It's located right next to Park MGM (duh) and New York New York, running all the way up to T-Mobile Arena. It's always such a pleasant spot to walk through. Lined with all sorts of art and water features. You have all of the cool selfie spots that you could ask for. And it makes for a pretty great spot to sit down and eat, too! There are a number of spots lining The Park. Awesome eateries such as Bruxie, Shake Shack, Beerhaus, etc.! All of which are bomb. They all feature indoor and outdoor seating, as well. The Park even features live music in the evening sometimes. Overall it's just an awesome place to go for a walk, grab a bite to eat, or just hang out with your friends. It's got misters in the Summer and heaters in the Winter, so you're set year-round. Check it out and enjoy! read more

The park was clean, well kept, a lot of people sitting around and taking pictures. This place is definitely a nice place to do photo shoots. A nice place to sit and relax after a long day of walking the strip. Plenty of eateries around each with their own loos to do a two in. I like the variety I like the options! No porter potties here. Feeling lonely? Not a problem there's always a lady or a guy nearby that passes these little pictures with phone numbers on them that you could call. Yelpers this little niche @New York New York hotel called The Park... if ever you have the opportunity to stop through and check it out, I suggest you do. A couple of things brought me here. I wanted to see the giant statue of Bliss Dance but I also wanted to experience HELLO KITTY CAFE... I don't believe I did a check in for Hello Kitty Cafe separately but it's a must try. The peach and mango iced teas are to die for. Tasted like I made it at home. I was able to purchase a few cool Vegas souvenirs and enjoy a sugar cookie. This chill area was an awesome prequel to The New York New York Hotel. It was an extremely hot day but the water walls and the breeze provided a pretty chill place to cool off and rest during the stroll of the strip. The pictures don't do it justice but I will attach them anyway. It's beautiful here at night and I didn't make it back to snap pictures but I will next time as this is a definite must stop on my list... read more

You can get here by walking if not staying at MGM Properties. I suggest visiting later in the afternoon especially during the summer time. It's free to get in, to stay and play. If you're in the mood to sip on a few beers or grab a quick bite, you can do it here. I feel this was MGM Company's attempt to compete with Caesars's Quad and High Roller attractions. It's smaller but much easier to get to. I see it being a meeting place for large groups before or after visiting the new TMobile Arena. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as you'll want to see everything that's here. read more

I thought this was just a strip of park from the LV strip to T-Mobile arena but on game nights it's something else! All the usual things are at the Park, like a strip of restaurants, a water wall, some games but on LV Knights game nights it becomes something better! They show the game on a wall just outside the T-Mobile Arena entrance and there are a bunch of food trucks, beer carts and hockey related games setup outside so that people can enjoy the game in the park. It's a fantastic setup and something that they can only do somewhere warm because this would suck in most Canadian arenas, especially in January! read more
