We didn't get Sookie till she was 3 months old and she was not socialized at all. Scared of everything! Now at 9 months I felt like we could try grooming. Robin was amazing! She greeted us at the door and her demeanor was friendly calm laid back. She spoke directly to Sookie. Sookie's tail was tight between her legs. But she was immediately at ease when Robin talked to her in that "doggy voice" people use..She told me it would be about 2 hours but she called me in about an hour and half and said she was done ! Sookie was sitting at the door with Robins dog waiting g for me when I pulled in with a big smile on her face!! Robin got me in within a day for appointment, quick and my dog was very well bath brushed nails done !! With a cute little bandanna. Price was shocking !!! $45...!!!! I was able to leave a nice tip...! Looking forward to next visit!!

Boo (the cute dog) adores her. And how great is it that she COMES TO YOUR HOUSE? I hand Boo over, Jessie makes her pretty, and I get about an hour and a half to eat lunch without a dog trying to steal my sandwich. #winning Her price is equal to what Boo's previous groomer charged, with the bonus that I don't actually have to drive Boo anywhere 'cause she's a freakin' terror in the car. Boo, in her natural state, is a super fluffy cavachon - similar to a low-flying cumulus cloud, but littered with eye boogers and cowlicks. $85 takes care of her bath, trim, nail filing, and teeth brushing. It's totally worth it.

They even leave a TV on in each room to keep the dogs (and cats) company. They are all pet owners so they understand how worrisome it can be to leave your fur baby in a strange place. Finn has many friends at D'Tails now. She gives their services 2 paws up (that's a 5/5). :)

And the grooming crew at D'tails has called many times to let me know they were unable to comb out his mats and would need to shave him. I arrived for what was my dog's first day of doggy…read moredaycare at Bark Central (Chambersburg) and the staff arrived from a back room, took my dog's leash from me without making eye contact or acknowledging me, and took her to the back for her day of day care. There's no clear view of the daycare portion of this place. The fence outside has an ugly black tarp all the way around it, and the inside is very closed off. I had that really uneasy feeling but thought it was just "first time mom" nerves. I had seen good reviews about this place, and it was really busy with several people dropping their dogs off for the day, so I figured I was just being overly protective and was just in the middle of the morning chaos. When I arrived in the afternoon to pick my dog up, they brought her out to me caked in mud and smelling like dog pee. She looked as if she was on the bottom of a dog pile getting pummeled by other dogs all day. My dog, who never wants to leave anywhere that I take her, was desperately trying to get into my car before I could even get the door open. This review unfortunately doesn't stop here. I got my dog home and gave her a much-needed bath because of all the caked on mud and smelling like dog pee, and as I was washing her paws I noticed LARGE slices in BOTH sets of pads on the bottom of her paws. It truly looked like someone took a knife and sliced my dog's paws open. I had to take her to the vet and they said that if the cuts had gone any deeper it could have caused significant tissue damage. When I called Bark Central to speak with someone about my dog's injuries, I was told by the staff on the phone that my dog had been playing on the "gravel lot" and the gravel may have cut her feet. No concern on the other end of the line, no apologies or offering to make the situation better. I was given the runaround - "I'll tell the manager to call you." I never received a return phone call. Needless to say, my dog will never return to this awful place, but I will tell everyone that I know to never take their dog to this hell hole. Listen to your gut, and ask for a proper tour.
