I had a water birth with my first son and definitely wanted one with my second son as well. This place is heaven sent. If you can tolerate labor unmedicated and fully immerse yourself in the miraculous experience of bringing a baby into this world.. this is for you! Brooke is the sweetest and most helpful receptionist. Kayla and Krista the midwives here are beyond knowledgable in their craft. After delivering my boy too quickly things became a bit scary for me and the midwife handled the situation with ease and I felt as though I was in good hands the entire time. I trust these ladies more than doctors and that speaks volumes. My last appointment was a couple weeks ago and I was really sad because it felt like a second home with all the visits. Their care, kindness and compassion is out of this world and even though I only wanted 2 kids initially, I might just have to have a third just because of how much I loved my experience here!

Here is our story. My husband and I originally wanted a midwife at the hospital but due to short…read morestaffing issues they couldn't guaranteed that a midwife would deliver our child. We decided to transfer care to the birthing center in my 3rd trimester. The normal birthing center package advertised on the website includes 13 prenatal visits, labor and delivery, 5 postpartum visits for $7200. We participated in 7 of the 13 prenatal visits and got a $200 late to care discount. At 40 weeks, the birthing center said they were required by law to transfer me back to the hospital for labor and delivery. So back to the hospital we went. We delivered at the hospital at 40 weeks and 1 day. We left the hospital after 24 hours and were expecting to receive at home care from the birthing center and complete our care through them. We were not contacted after birth about our postpartum visits for the 24 hour or 3 day check-ins. At that point, we decided to ask for a refund for the care we did not receive which included labor and delivery and 5 postpartum care appointments. We were refunded $2,929.50 out of our initial $7,000. In total, we participated in 7 of 18 appointments and did not labor or deliver with the center. Therefore, we paid $611 per 30-60 minute check-up appointment before labor. Overall, we felt like the situation was not handled appropriately. We felt taken advantaged of and not treated fairly. We hope for the future that pricing and structures reflect the care that is given.

I CANNOT/ WILL NOT recommend Lauren Manley based on my overall experience…read more From the small amount of photos I actually have in my possession, Lauren does beautiful work, BUT beautiful photos do not make up for poor communication, missed deadlines, and unprofessional business practices. The amount of stress and frustration she caused my husband and I surrounding both our elopement and wedding reception was TERRIBLE. Leading up to both events, we had no idea whether she was even going to show up! She ignored calls, texts, and emails for extended periods, often not responding at all. We hired Lauren to photograph and film our elopement, with the understanding that the video would be ready to play at our wedding reception months later. Despite knowing this deadline well in advance, she didn't send the completed video until just hours before it was scheduled to be shown to more than 100 guests. No couple should have to wonder if such an important part of their wedding will be ready at the last minute. The problems didn't end there. Her contract stated that our final photos and videos would be delivered within 8 weeks. That deadline came and went with no delivery, no explanation, and NO communication. We repeatedly reached out through every available method and were ignored. When you hire a wedding photographer, you're trusting them with one of the most important days of your life. Communication, reliability, and honoring contractual obligations are just as important as the quality of the images. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of those expectations. Our wedding was 6/28/25, and we STILL DO NOT have our full album of photos, ultimately forcing us to pursue small claims court with Lauren, who is just as flakey in court as she was at our wedding.

Lauren will not respond to any of our texts calls or emails. Unfortunately she was the only photographer we had, the fact that she would scam someone out of their photos of their special day is heart breaking. We are absolutely devastated and all want is our photos.
