Not everyone will understand the blue book shirt or the "Three" poem, but anyone will appreciate the beautiful artist's rendering of the Carillion or the street of the Acad Oval in nighttime. I love how they have really simple designs, and they also have funnny and quirky printed t-shirts that one can wear casually, say during a trip to the mall or when catching an Ikot to your next class I like their t-shirts because they do not wear out quickly, and the rubberized print on my t-shirt is still pretty much intact despite several months of washing and wearing. Artwork is a great artsy place that sells 1. cheap (SUPER YAY), 2. local (support local stores, yes), and 3. unique clothes, hats, beanies, bags, pouches, wallets, shoes, and notebooks. Artwork is all about their prints. The designs here are so funky and hip you will not know which to choose. If you're into art and odd and weird then you will love the stuff at Artwork. I got so giddy entering here and went ahead and bought something (I couldn't resist). The shirts are my favorite because they're super comfortable, and you can pair it with any type of bottom and you won't look plain because the designs are so loud and out there. You are literally wearing/holding/writing on/carrying an artwork and I think that in itself is amazing. The designs are all made by hand either transferred or done directly on the fabric. You can come in here with P1000 and come out with at most 5 shirts (they sell tanks for under P200).

Often punny or depicting local culture in nostalgic, artsy ways, sometimes they're too good to leave on the rack, especially during sales. Another rad thing about Artwork is that it often collaborates with the best visual artists in the country, and regularly has a design your own shirt contest to encourage customers to contribute their own ideas to the store's collections. This small store called Akita often has racks that go for as low as Php 100 - 350 when they're on sale. Though at this place (like many other smaller boutiques around Glorietta) you really have to be patient in sorting through the racks as a lot of the good stuff are wedged in between the not-so stylish ones. I once found this beautiful jumper dress in heather and it reminds me of what those minimalist Japanese girls wear, something I could say I can find in Muji even. So if you need a quick outfit or just looking to do some light shopping, check this place out.
