We've been down three times and been given inaccurate timelines each time forcing us to wait for not minutes but hours after the original timeline. After waiting due to they're slow work we were told that we were to come again for another check up as obviously the surgery they did was flawed. And they wanted us to pay another 200 euro on top of the 2200 already spent in just two visits. After I complained and said we'd take our "business" (see that word, give it a google and find out how a typical business treats their customers) she then said oh but I was going to give it to you free of charge which she had not stated until I said we would go elsewhere. Absolutely despicable business skills and manners. The place is there as a pure money making opportunity which is blatantly obvious as they cram all sorts of animal expertise businesses into every possible space. So no wonder they milk a customer for all they are worth. UCD vet clinic is a far better alternative. And I'd say to any entrepreneurs out there with cash there's an opening in the market for a vet hospital that doesn't treat their customers like rubbish. I suggest for them maybe a UCD business course.

I actually completed placement here when I was younger so I have seen every inch of the practice and can attest to it's high standards. It boasts modern equipment and techniques. Offering a large range of services. The staff are polite, professional and friendly. John Garrahy himself is a very calm, professional veterinarian. My dog is treated regularly for usual treatments such as de-worming and vaccinations to treatment for his lung polyps, sensitive skin and tummy. They have a fabulous selection of medicated food and shampoo available. Are more than willing to try a natural approach, so they are not quick to unnecessarily medicate your pet. Prices are on the higher end of the scale but the quality of care you get is second to none. There is an out of hours number you can contact for emergencies. They have two clinics, one based in Limerick and the other in Shannon, Co.Clare. And while it is not something they advertise, if you are a long term loyal customer at this practice, they are willing to negotiate a payment plan with you should your pet find itself in need of an expensive and unprecedented treatment. When billing you, the clinic rounds down, not up so you do save money. And they regularly cut their food stock to have price for it's clients. I honestly cannot speak highly enough of this clinic. Claire is my pets favourite veterinarian to visit, he just adores her!!!
