We've now have been taking out Australian Labradoodle for a few years and will continue to have her servicing (if that's the right word)? by them. I have been going to Pet Barber for years. Started going to this groomer before the current management and have continued ever since. I have never had a problem with the groomers across the years, in fact, I have always raved about the professionalism and attention to detail regarding the grooming and my dogs well being. That is until the last time I went. Upon picking up my dog, her haircut looked great and she was typically relieved to see me. Until I noticed a large bloody patch on her back leg completely exposed and actively bleeding. The groomer wasn't going to say anything until I mentioned it, when I did she acted like it was my fault and brushed me off. This is a senior dog and extra care should have been shown. At least a little compassion and a bandage. This ended up being a $300 vet visit to stop the bleeding which continued until the next day when I could get an appointment. Super disappointed and they lost a long term, loyal customer. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! I started going to the PB 15 1/2 years ago. At first they were very good. Prices reasonable. The owner groomed my dog. Over the years the hours were cut shorter and shorter, she worked less, and the prices went up. No problem if your providing great service. Big problem when I also charged for services he didn't have even though I requested it not be done. I witnessed a dog falling off the table hanging by his neck and told "oh, that happens all the time!" When I recently inquired if they were going to extend their hours now that COVID restrictions had been lifted, I was snapped at and told "NO we all have children! You're welcome to take him somewhere else but I don't think anyone would put up with him!" My jaw dropped, he's a 12lb Shih Tzu who went there every 6 weeks for 15 1/2 years. They had no problem talking my money all those years $60 grooming fee + I always tipped $12 (20%) = $72. I called and left a message with the owner. Never received a call back. So much for customer service! read more

We recently adopted a 2 year old Shih tzu and were referred to the Pet Barber by several people in town who bring their dogs there. We brought Louie for the first time today and we're so pleased with our experience! I got a great vibe as soon as I walked in, and they were very sweet to our nervous little guy, picking him up and cuddling with him when I went to leave. They gave him a very short cut (as we requested) and since he became nervous when they groomed his face, they brought a second person over to distract him with a toy and keep him calm. They called me to pick him up as soon as he was done, which was less than 2 hours after I dropped him off. We'll definitely be going back! read more

Horrible, terrible, no good, very bad place!!! Gave instructions to the owner of the shop to only shave the mats out, which were few. Came to pick up my dog and didn't even recognize her since all of her fur was shaved off and not even in all spots. I strongly do not recommend this place at all!!!! read more

I've been to the pet barber about 4 times with my girls (Yorkie and Shitzu) and loved the results and my pups were in and out. This past time was AWFUL! I dropped my dogs off at 8am... After 4 hours I started to get worried... After 5 hours I started calling asking if everything was ok... They called me an hour later saying the girls were fine and should be done in an hour. That's SEVEN hours my dogs spent in a cage, neglected. When I finally picked them up, the cuts were not what I asked for (legs too long, ears too long) and one of my girls had a 3inch scratch down her chest. We will NEVER be back. read more

My English setter has been going to this groomer for 8 years. They always do what is asked and she always comes back beautiful.

Have been there 5+ times to get a lions cut done on my cat. Came out perfect each time. Well it must be all be girls in there now because this last time I went they completely butchered my cat. Shaved him COMPLETELY besides the tip of his tail, even his head! When I got him home and called to complain they said that IS a lions cut and told me I should have specified not to shave his head. Never had to before! Not only that but he had 1inch long hair in certain spots where they missed and he has clipper marks all over him. He hid in his bed for 2 days so I don't know if they hurt him or what. I don't trust them now. I called to complain again and wanted my money back and they never called me back. I really liked them too but I will NEVER be back. read more

The Pet Barber has kept our Cockapoo handsome for 14 years. Sadly he recently passed on. They are the only groomers he ever went to. Everyone on their staff was wonderful with him and our family.
