Well, I can't rate how well they do as far as my little dog goes, but I can rate how I was treated. I asked to make an appointment for my 13 year old sweet natured chihuahua pug to be shaved. Nothing fancy, just shaved. Immediately and with no greeting, I was told they have a month long wait to get in, and they don't shave double coated dogs. I explained that she has been shaved her whole life and no one has ever had an issue. It's actually easy- they just shave off all her hair with a #1 setting on the shaver. My dog is sweet and easy dog to groom. I guess they didn't think she was worth their time. I'm happy to take my business elsewhere- especially after reading other negative reviews about how filthy the place is, and how rude they are. I have to agree on the rudeness, as they never responded to me after I sent pics of my dog and said she normally gets shaved every month, and I'm just here for a few months and that's why I called them. I have no problem paying top dollar somewhere else where my money is appreciated. I guess they just make too much money here, lol! read more

They are the worst groomers ever. The owner groomed, if that's what they call it. My fur baby was sent home with ears cut short and uneven, no privacy cut, no nails cut, leg hair and tail uncut. They charged $65.00 for the crappy job they did. Very unhappy with what they have become. My dog has been going there for two years. Not even an apology after I called with my disappointment. This place is amazing and they do a really really good job. I take my dogs there to get nail trims.

Rob and his staff are very nice. my dogs were treated great. With that said the second grooming was awful my one dog was only half groomed I ended up giving them both a bath a couple days later, my poodle mix wasn't even combed out. I paid over 100.00 and felt like I was ripped off, I canceled my third grooming and won't go back. read more

My dog never gets the same cut twice. Long wait for appointments, sometimes more than a month.

We always get in quickly and easily and our dogs get great nail trims with no appointment.

Sadly I must tell you that the NOT so gentlemen like man that works here is not only pushy & rude but did a terrible job on my Shih Tzu~! She is chopped up all over... I just wanted out of there so I did not further mention anything because it was just getting worse every time I pointed out anything. She has large chop holes all over her. He did apologize after he smart mouthed me but only after I let him know I was not the one to speak to the way he did. I did accept the apology as a Christian, but we will NOT be back~! The young lady was very kind that bathed her and helped with her. I feel bad for her working with this person. He also was very late for our early morning appt & then walked around talking for 15 mins like I could just wait longer on him... Sorry no way to treat new customers bud. Also the mats they use on tables were filthy. I don't know how they would be that way when dogs are bathed first??? But they should be replaced. The shop was dirty too. I looked at items around the lobby, a mat for your vehicle had matted dog hair all over it. We just LOVED The Pet Parlor!! Rob was FANTASTIC!! They made me feel VERY comfortable leaving my dog with them. They are very welcoming and a nice calm environment. Sammie (My Fur baby) is a Shepard/Chow mix he is 14 going to be 15 soon and just went deaf about months ago, The reason I am putting this in the review is to let you know that they took Extra time and Extra good care of my Baby making sure he was comfortable and didn't push him past his limits. He not only looks great, He showed that he was comfortable with the groomer and that makes me really happy. We have had a hard time finding a good groomer since we moved up north and I am telling you we have now finally found our permanent groomer. If I could I would give 5 stars. This is absolutely the best grooming my dog has received. The haircut exactly what I wanted, and they seem to genuinely care about my dog. and she smells absolutely wonderful,. My only complaint is several dogs running around as if they were in a dog park. The distraction must be tremendous trying to work on other dogs at the same time. read more

I have been taking our dog to the Pet Parlor for several years and through two different owners. My dog does not like to be bathed, but does not mind going to these groomers, because he loves the attention. He only gets bathed and brushed out, so I can't speak for cuts. read more
