Day 1 - We had a very enjoyable lunch for two comprising the "Pickled Sisters Vineyard Platter" - with Rutherglen Muscat & chicken liver pate, homemade chicken terrine & chutney, smoked salmon with herbed sour cream, spiced eggplant, Gooramadda olives, Milawa cheese 26.50 - plus Formichi prosciutto & salami, smoked salmon & horseradish mousse, Boosey Creek cheese, mushrooms a la grecque, Wicked Virgin extra virgin olive oil & more! 40 Day 2 - We returned the following morning to collect the wine selection and paused for a enjoyable coffee in the cafe. On both visits, the service was friendly and efficient. I could not fault our Vineyard Platter in presentation or quality. read more

Excellent place for a meal. I have been here three times now and I will keep coming back. The food is consistently good and is worth the trip as it has just the right flavours and use of local produce. The wines are excellent and I can highly recommend the Cofields Tawny Port to finish off an excellent meal. I have always sat on the deck and it provides for a very relaxing atmosphere. The service is also excellent. read more

Turned up today to have lunch (some free time without the kids) only to be ignored whilst waiting at the counter by 4 staff, including what seemed to be the manager. So I decided perhaps I would just take a seat and wait to be waited upon, as there was no sign indicating which was the appropriate action. Whilst waiting I was finally noticed by one of the staff, who approached me and asked if she could help me. I then asked if it was ok to sit here and she waved her hands and shook her head and said no we are fully booked. Please note that there were no signs anywhere indicating this let alone reserved signs on any tables. I left feeling very embarrassed, as if I had just been thrown out. Just a word of advice. Please be pleasant and perhaps place either fully booked out signs on the doors or at least on the tables. Very disappointed! read more

Excellent lunch on a very hot day at this cafe which is part of Cofield's winery. Would have been nice to sit outside, but 40 C meant indoors it was. Recommended by our motel owner (Motel Woongara Rutherglen - excellent also). Had the vineyard platter, which among other delights contained the best chicken liver pate we've ever had. Worth the visit alone! Cofield wines also top notch. Elegant, food-friendly Riesling, great Sparkling Shiraz, decent Sangiovese, etc. We will return for sure! read more

Nice coffee here. Must stop for lunch sometime. The setting is very nice and the food I saw looked great. Service was attentive too.
