I really appreciated that there were some chairs to sit if needed (I did need to at one point) and how much room was around the holes which made for easy navigation with my cane. They also had a cool water obstacle course. The pool is huge and plenty of room for the people at the private event. They offered bbq and snow cones. We had a great time at the event. We'd return if it's not crazy crowded. Bathrooms were clean enough for a pool. Limited parking

It allows for river access, has public bathrooms and a shady parking lot. Our favorite part is all the big old trees and the ponds on the south end. The trail is concrete and pretty flat. It is also wide so you can walk beside a friend. It goes under the road into Windsor and weaves through ponds. If you like to listen to music with head phones, be careful of bikers that come up quickly and quietly on that surface.

A portion of this trail is within the city but the majority is out in the country and you are surrounded by beautiful views of mountains, open fields, lakes, trees and farmland and all that you can hear is the wind rustling through the trees and maybe a small critter jumping into the water. I would say the best time to go is in the spring or fall when the air is cool and crisp, or in the early morning hours of the summer.

It is perfect for strollers, skateboards, rollerblades, walking or running. We went early and saw the sun rise, but by the time we were leaving the parking lot had filled a little with walking group participants of all ages. We saw rabbits, squirrels, a flick of pelicans and more than a handful of herons. There are benches, trash cans and doggie pick up bags in multiple places.
