Found this place while traveling through the area. I placed an online order for pickup. What I got was an amazing tasting pizza, kind customer service and a great experience. I don't know if the system isn't properly integrated with Toast for online orders, or if the guy working the register is a bit slow, but he was unable to pull up my order, or any record of it. I had to log into my email on my phone and then somehow a lightbulb went off that the pizza that they prepared existed. However, on top of that, he needed to be reminded that I had a drink ordered as well. So for anyone who orders online, print out your email receipt, or better yet, just go somewhere else. Mozzarella and pesto were good, the pizza as a whole though was thoroughly average and unsatisfying. The crust was chewy, and lacked flavor. Tomato sauce was oily and thin. The garlic knots were tough and chewy and had little garlic. read more

We have always ordered from a delivery app and the pizza has been pretty good. We decided to go in and try to dine in during our most recent visit. As we walked in we were hit with a horrible sewer smell and decided to get our food to go instead. We placed our order with the cashier and she seemed to be having a difficult time understanding the toppings we wanted which we have always ordered from other apps. We waited outside due to the smell and figured they would let us know when it was ready. Nearly 30 minutes later we walked in and our pizza had been sitting there for who knows how long. We checked the order for accuracy and noticed we were missing an item so we asked one of the staff members which then went and checked and gave it to us. Clearly the staff could care less and the place is not built for dine in. They have delivery bags everywhere and the space is just too small. Saw reviews so thought we would try it. Being new, we went in and sat down. We didn't realize they didn't have table service and 3 of the staff that were standing around didn't bother to tell us. The ignored us totally. It was another customer who came over and told us. We ordered at the counter and waited. The food arrived and was put on the table without word. It was tasteless and extremely soggy. I didn't even eat my share. We counted no less than 7 staff behind the counter. Some working others playing. On our way out I walked over to the counter to see what they were doing. They had cornmeal all over the counter and were playing and writing in it. How are you still in business? read more

It was pretty good I recommend a Stromboli preferably pepperoni, I thought it can be a serving size for one person but it's big enough for too unless you want that to fill you up, the cashier charged me for an extra Stromboli instead of a 10" pizza but he apologized and put the 10" pizza on the house and he let me keep the extra Stromboli, I actually think this place could easily be a first date or something like that since it's really clean and there is nothing wrong with the place. read more

The pizza is inconsistent but acceptable. It's not the best. It is not the worst. The sauce is just ok. It's not too acidic or too sweet. Really doesn't stand out much. The pepperoni and beef pizza I had was good but the crust was unevenly cooked. Too well done on one side, under done on the other. The meats and cheese used were of good quality. Better than your standard. Pepperoni was actually pretty spicy now that I think about it. The bright spot about this place is the fact you get quality pizza at a fair price. Now is the place better than Stefano's? No. Better than IL Forno? No. Better than Papa John's? By miles. So you see what I'm getting at. The service was fast and friendly. Everyone was lovely. They even have free garlic knot samples. Do ask how long they've had those samples out. I say that because they have garlic butter melted on top and if they've been out too long, your stomach will hate you. Just saying. Don't say I didn't warn you. The place itself is welcome and inviting. Enough space for a little league team to hangout in. A place comfortable enough to grab a slice and study. Great place for lunch or dinner. Lots of other non pizza items on the menu. Pastas, calzones and Strombolis. I may go back to try the pasta, chicken parm and Stromboli. Would I go back for the pizza? Probably not. But thats not to say I wouldn't eat their pizza again. Maybe next time it will be better cooked. Who knows. But I will say this, I would like to see this place succeed. My family's favorite pizza place! We love getting the cheese pizza and garlic knots. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo is also very good.

Pizza is delicious and so is pretty much everything else on the menu. The calzone's are soft and can be customized to your liking.

The pizzeria is popular and seems to have consistent business. I'm not sure why they don't open one in McAllen. The pizza is delicious and the pasta is good too. The only thing that wasn't very good was the cannoli, which came free with a yelp check in. I like that you can buy either pizza by the slice or a whole pizza. It is some of the best pizza around, kind of a New Jersey style. read more

It is time for a return of an Aaron Martinez™ Yelp© review. Like aforementioned in previous reviews, as a college student visiting home over the holidays, one of my favorite activities is exploring whatever extravagant and stimulating businesses open up in my vicinity. The one that seemed to pique my interest the most was this quirky Italian spot-- particularly for it's clever, tongue-in-cheek and saucy statement that reads "Legalize Marinara." For context, after extemporaneous research, you'd be keen to find out marinara is in no way illegal in Hidalgo county, the State of Texas, or the United States of America. Now, to begin the review, I would first like to describe the ambiance of the restaurant. This restaurant is a quaint business with about 12 varied tables of different sizes. The tables and interior design provided a feel of an Italian villa, like the type that you would sit outside, glass of a crisp sauvignon blanc in hand, reading a Leonardo Sciascia novel or chatting with a pal over the amazing artistry of Piero Piccioni's scoring. Rather than being outside though, this interior is insulated, and gives you a fragment of that experience maybe to evoke this feeling in a restrained sense - a home away from home. A piece of their interior I also appreciated was the row of pizza boxes along the south end of the building. Not only does this serve great utility for the aftermath of gorging on a strambouli, but it also gives the business a gritty, DIY feel. Like a NY pizzeria. You acquire a mix of both worlds. I like that. When I was eating, the demographic was a mixture of families ranging from an older couple post-50's to a young parent with youth who were wildin' out rambunctiously with Beyblade's - a nostalgia inducing moment as I recalled the first moment I let it rip. We obtain a sense of the Dionysian and Apollonian dichotomy when my Beyblade nostalgia conflicted with my longing for the Italian villa scene. When deciding what to order you are offered a mixture of several very price-friendly lunch specials which include either slices of pizza, strombolis, sides, or a drink. I selected the Stromboli, side, and a drink. I chose this option because the restaurant is unique in that it grants you the esteemed privilege of selecting your Stromboli as you see it behind a glass window. This reminds me a lot of adopting a dog at an animal shelter. As you scour the cages looking for the most pristine, you find that special, longtime friend. That's a lot what ordering a Stromboli is like. A Stromboli isn't a simple, one time meal. A Stromboli is a lifeterm friend. The Stromboli that particularly caught my eye was of the Meat Lover's variant which contained pepperoni, Italian sausage, Canadian bacon, cheese, and other potential meaty goodness. The side I selected was a fresh garden salad drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette. The salad contained iceberg lettuce and a mixture of that tarty green olive, Roma tomatoes, and the purple, radish-in-color type of olive. Although the lettuce was fresh and worked well with the tomato under a balsamic vinaigrette, I personally was not a fan of the blast of olive and would appreciate a more varied ingredient list. Olives taste to me like what golf is as a sport - it's something you admire for it's skill but you probably wouldn't watch or eat it often. A recommendation would be to include cucumbers, chickpeas, maybe ricotta, or a bready crouton of sorts, but that may be personal preference. Now, the real star of the show was the Stromboli. The Stromboli was fresh and warm and looked appealing with it's golden brown skin. Needless to say, I was thirstin to dig in. The Pizzeria truly went sicko mode on this Stromboli. The amount of each meat in the Stromboli was well represented and because the ratio was so efficacious in assorting flavors, the Stromboli was never lacking in flavor with every sequential bite. I was shoveling that bad boy in my mouth like a tonka truck. On top of the meat, the Stromboli coalesced with the cheese, bread, and marinara spread well in which the tang and spice from the meaty goodness appealed to the umami character of the cheese and meaty combo of sauce. I am quite the sauce fiend, so having the option to control my sauce intake is a responsibility more restaurants should take advantage of. Altogether, my experiences, from my Beyblade induced nostalgia upon entering the restaurant to the sauce based sensory playground of the Stromboli during my meal, were brilliant. The floors were a mess, toothpicks everywhere and minimum 3 employees standing around looking like they were doing nothing. I haven't had a nice place to grab a great slice of Pizza in Edinburg for as long as I can remember. Pizzeria provides a delicious and unique slice of pizza that has a taste which is all it's own. Take a bite of their pizza and you can immediately tell there is nothing but love put into every pie. I've been visiting the location over the last 4 weeks and everytime they deliver perfect, hot and fresh pizza. There's nothing else like it in Edinburg. Even their other menu items are great. I personally get the Fried Cheese with Marinara while I wait for the bigger entree. Looking for a nice bite of pizza in an area where everyone buys from a chain? Pizzeria is your best bet. The service is also nice, and the employees here love their work. It's evident from the moment you walk in it's no regular pizza shop. In all honesty, it's the best pizza, service and price!! It makes me feel like I'm in Austin!! It's my favorite pizza and this is why. We usually order the New Yorker... half pepperoni and half Pesto Pizza. It's amazing!! My son and daughter enjoys 4 huge slices of pepperoni pizza (their favorite too btw) and my wife and I enjoy the other pesto half!! The cheesy bread is super good as well as the garlic knots.
