My husband and I wanted to try somewhere new, so we decided on Pasta Co. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is really cute and has a cozy, homey vibe, and the service was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started with two sangrias the original red and the blueberry and both were really good. We also ordered fried mozzarella. They sat on our table for a bit before we tried them, but to my surprise I still got a great cheese pull! They were delicious. The restaurant also brought out complimentary garlic knots, which were really good too. For our meals, I ordered the chicken parmigiana and my husband got the lasagna. We also added soups for an extra charge I had the tomato bisque and he had the clam chowder. Both soups had great flavor and were really enjoyable. When our pasta arrived, the portions were definitely generous. The chicken was great and the sauce was delicious, but the pasta itself was a little undercooked for my taste and could have used a bit more time. My husband said the lasagna was good, but it lacked a little flavor. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and agreed we'd come back another time to try a different dish. read more

This was my first time to Malfitany's Pasta Co., and I was not disappointed. On the contrary, I found their food delicious, and their service impeccable. In Texas on official business...needed an Italian fix--bear in mind I'm 2 miles from the Mexican Border and I'm Italian from the Northeast. Place was lovely--pasta is homemade and was delicious. Garlic knots looked bizarre but very good. Sauce was spot on. Meatballs hmmmm...they needed help. David , the owner, awesome guy came over and we had an existential conversation about the quality of a good meatball. (polpette) I offered to do a workshop for his staff on the way we do meatballs in the Northeast. He was all over it!! I was impressed with the food. Not the best, but it was quite good. For the price you are paying, it's not bad at all. The dish I had was their low carb option, the noodle was replaced with zucchini. After a look at the amazing menu, I saw a plate of chicken wings go by in a servers tray. I had to order some. The plate came with 8 of the biggest chicken wings I have seen in a long time. They were meaty and delicious, dunked in Sweet BBQ Glaze. The service was excellent this time (we have not always experienced this here). All I know is that all the wing places are out the door and I am ordering only from here. Fresh and delightful. I had Spaghetti Pomodoro. The quality of the pasta was spot on. The marinara sauce was excellent. Hubby had a lasagna ( I had a taste and I will definitely order that one when we return. Our servers name was Justin. I'm going to assume that he was new and still figuring things out...
