Unprofessional and fraudulent practices. They charged us $700 to clear a simple sink clog. During the job, they flooded three other apartments, causing over $4,000 in damages. We have contacted them repeatedly, and they continue to deny all responsibility, even though an investigation was conducted and they were found liable. They replaced the anode rod in my hot water heater. I supplied the anode rod. The plumber was here for 1/2 hour. The work was satisfactory, but they charged me $447.00. I would be pleasant if charged that much for my work read more

We thought we could fix the plumbing under our kitchen sink ourselves, we could not (lesson learned) this resulted in not having water for two days until we had a technician come in. Dylan arrived on time, saw the issue, and fixed it right away. Problem solved. Just when we thought we were safe, another problem reared it's ugly head (nothing to do with Dylan). This was a new problem. Enter Jason, he could see why it was leaking, and he took his time fixing to make sure all was right. I have never spent that much money in two days, but well worth it. I had my kitchen sink faucet replaced because it's had to close. It leaks If I don't close it in a certain way. So I called Pleasant plumber. The dispatch told me that it's 119.00 just for the tech to come.The guys came and replace it with a new faucet that I bought. They were nice but I think I was over priced. The guy billed me $440.00 and I was shocked. They were here for maybe 45 minutes. I told them I can't afford that gave me 100 dollars off. I think that I was taken advantaged of. We had a minor leak in basement in Sept 2024. The technician, Chris, came out; he was clearly new to the trade (had to call his supervisor constantly to ask questions). Chris took pictures and I had asked to be texted a copy because I live in a different province and a family member lives in the house. The leak was caused by a potential incorrect install of the drain assembly from dishwasher by previous homeowner (we do not use the dishwasher). We were given cost options to fix and we decided to cap off the dishwasher line since we might have it removed. Upon Chris capping the dishwasher drain assembly he said our entire main kitchen sink stack broke, this was now a big job that had to be scheduled in the future - we couldn't use the kitchen sink, and the new quote was over $1500 (the cost for the current day work was $400). Chris said he would need to lift some of the kitchen flooring, cut out drywall and remove cupboards etc. to get at the pipes - What was written in the new quote for the work "Repairs to drain line not reasonably achievable without detaching sink + cabinet and exposing the plumbing in the upstairs kitchen". We scheduled an appointment 2 days in future to have this work done. Something seemed off so we decided to call another plumbing company for a second quote, they found nothing wrong with the kitchen drain stack line and they said we were about to be scammed. We called Pleasant Plumber and cancelled the upcoming work. A few days later, I texted Chris and asked him to send me a copy of the pictures he took - no response. I called the office and asked to speak to the manager regarding the apparent work that was to be done - no response to date. read more

I had a plug-up bathroom sink that I shouldn't have phone another plumbing company because they over-charged for bathroom sink. I would have bought new vanity for $636.00 What a totally rip-off plus the bathroom vanity now smell like dead something whatever. They put in white & black pvc pipes that don't have any marks on them. I was told that they are ABS pipes, where is the markings? And then, they send me two invoices for one job. The owner was so rude to me on Saturday morning, Hey, guys next time, you want a really good plumber to unplug the bathroom sink or kitchen sink. Called the Drain doctor or someone else that knows what they are doing. Better business doesn't even help the problems with the customers, they kissed the owner between the middle! read more

Had Andrew and Daniel do some major work in our Mobile home that was required. We had old plastic water lines that kept on splitting and causing water leaks. The guys came in and replace all the water lines. We also had them change the toilets and faucets while they were here. We couldn't be more happy with the work that they did. I had water coming into the basement through the weaping tile after a major rain and it backed up into the basement since the main drain was plugged due to washing machine discharge plugging the backwater valve. I called The Pleasant Plumber and they quoted me $85 for the site visit and another $160 for cleaning the main drain as worst case senerio. The tech came down, looked at the problem, grabbed his plunger and fixed it in under 2 minutes. He then politely presented a $420 bill. I freaked out! Told him what his boss quoted and made him grab his machine to clean the drain even though it wasn't required. These guys are crooks! DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!!! read more
