The property is beautiful, very large pool, rooftop views of sunset and a restaurant bar by the pool, BBB (big bad breakfast) I don't know why they call it that, should be big bad breakfast and lunch plus pool drinks. We booked a two night stay for NYE. I was so looking forward to a nice and relaxing stay after all the traveling for the holidays...... We arrived at our room pretty late as we had gone to a wedding prior and then drove 3 hours to the hotel.We got to our room and the code to get into the room was wrong,(they text it to you) after trying to get ahold of someone for 30 minutes, finally the security guard was able to get us a correct code and into our room. The room had a horrendous smell like wet mildew socks and strong pesticides, the A/C wasn't working either. The security guard proceeded to tell us that a work order would be put in for the morning to have to the A/C fixed but that nothing could be done that night and then he left. I found an after hours number online to call and they found an open room right next door and we moved rooms. The smell was still horrendous in that room too. We both woke up with headaches and I had an allergic reaction to whatever was in the rooms, it was so bad we couldn't bare to be in the room and our clothes and suitcases reeked. They were also doing construction on some of the rooms and the noise prevented us from getting to sleep in at all.We couldn't stand to be in the room anyways since the odor was so strong that we left as early as we could the next morning. If they fix the smell we would be back since the complex is nice and new, if they don't take care of the smell the rooms aren't fit to be stayed in. They did comp us one night for the A/C being out. I did appreciate that. Very disappointed in our stay and ruined my relaxing NYE getaway. read more

Rosemary Beach has been one of our favorite destinations for several years. The Pointe is our new go-to place to stay when we make the trek down there. The units are large and gorgeous, with condo-grade finishes. Perhaps our favorite part is the dramatic pool, which looks like it is out of a high end Caribbean resort. The location is an easy walk to the beach, shops, and bars. Great for families and couples that need more than a hotel room, but don't need a whole house rental. read more

We stayed here for a wedding. The wedding was being held at this complex. We were required to book 5 rooms as part of the wedding package. The wedding portion of the stay - excellent. Rooftop wedding with a cocktail hour after, then we headed down to the green by the pool for dinner and dancing for the reception. Was perfect! I wish the room was as perfect but it was really good. We were in a 3 bedroom, about 2000 sq ft. Great size! The sliding barn doors lacked privacy and that was really an issue for me. Also, the floors were so dirty that my feet, and the bride's feet, were solid black from walking barefoot the morning of the wedding while getting ready. My mother's room had shutters missing that created a whole in the wall from the bathroom to the bedroom. When she asked the front desk about it they shared the room was under construction. Why would they put someone in a room under construction? read more

The Pointe is located at the beginning of 30a. It is located right next to Rosemary Beach. I liked my stay but it did have its problems. First I'll state the good. It includes 2 beach chairs on Inlet Beach and it also includes 2 bikes you can rent on site in the back of the complex. I loved how modern everything looked. It has washer and dryer as well as movies you can rent from the lobby. Now for the cons. I stayed a week at The Pointe and I am back and still today my clothes smell heavily of pest control. The smell is over powering. They have a roach issue because I found 4 in my room. I do have to say they took care of it quick and didn't see them again. Pest control came right away but I still think nobody should encounter this on their vacation. Also my room looked clean and didn't encounter problems with the room. Had our wedding here, which was wonderful. No complaints AT ALL. Amazing price, view, coordinator, etc. have your wedding here. It's right next to Shades restaurant, which we walked to and BBB on site is amazing. The only complaints we had were about the hotel room. There's no full length mirror and no cups in our room! We had no cups when we wanted water in the middle of the night. read more

We rented a 3BR/3BA condo and he place was spacious and each bedroom had its own bathroom which was nice. The photos make the property look very high end, however the finishes are pretty cheap. Overall it was an ok experience, but we would not return to this property. The pool needs to be two or three times bigger to accommodate the number of people staying at the pointe. It's also very shallow, 3 1/2 feet is the deepest. It's full of adults drinking and not very fun for kids who are older than toddlers. Our unit had a terrible oder that never went away. Bathrooms smelled musty. It's clear nobody is running this property. Cleaning crews can be seen sitting around the property all day. Nobody seems particularly helpful, joyful or like they enjoy their jobs. It was nice to have a shuttle to the public beach, but we felt the beach is walking distance was much nicer. Suggest that the Pointe give more than 2 complimentary beach chairs to larger units. We rented a 3BR unit and had only 2 complimentary beach chairs. Rosemary and Seacrest beaches are beautiful, and there are many other places to stay next time. read more

Was scheduled to rent condo 1134 in May 2018. A few days before, there were warnings of a tropical storm approaching and expected to be a direct hit to the Gulf. We purchased the trip insurance and figured if we agreed to book for another week the owners/company would have no issues....WRONG! We were told that unless the place was damaged and un-livable could we receive a credit/refund/rescheduling. The Governor also issued a State of Emergency yet we were still expected to travel and put ourselves and our children in harms way or else lose the entire rental amount(~$2k)....which is what we ended up doing/losing. I understand they are running a business and trying to make money but it doesn't seem morally right to hold someone's feet to the fire under these circumstances. read more

Let me start off by saying we absolutely love the property here . We have had nothing but a great time while staying here D in the front office has been absolutely awesome . Anything we needed she was on it . I truly hope the management of this facility realizes what they have with a person like D greeting people at the front desk because she has help make this a memorable vacation for sure . I stayed here in unit B for two nights, March 29 and 30, 2019. The air/heat unit is controlled by another unit A. Very cold got a blanket to put on the bed. Next morning got another blanket. Smelled paint fumes or some strong odor. Will not return and do not recommend it to others. The place is overpriced. read more

I have been staying at The Pointe for the last few days for Thanksgiving. From the pictures, it seems super fancy. The rooms are nice and spacious. I was very impressed that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The WiFi in each room is good, and the amenities are nice. A nice washer and dryer, nice tvs, nice dishwasher and the bathrooms are pretty nice too. We had a nice view looking over the inner courtyard with the pool. The fitness facility is good. One downside is the water. When I got into the shower for the first time it smelled pretty bad. I would not recommend drinking it. I only use it to brush my teeth. For my medicine, I use chocolate milk instead. Even though the water smells bad, I can still shower because I get used to it, and it's just water. There is also a roof that looks out over Rosemary and Inlet beach and to the Gulf. Worth checking out. I am not sure if anyone goes up there, because there were no staff when I went up. There is a bar but nothing was there. I would recommend staying here. read more

The point deserves only a one star. We have stayed there a few times place was nice now I see new people involved and it just hasn't been the same. Black mold in every unit that we have went into. It stinks bugs in the living room. I would not recommend this condo to anyone read more

The Pointe is a hidden gem! The staff are professional ,friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Maintenance is prompt and quick to fix anything that needs attention. ResortQuest is doing a fantastic job of managing such a lovely property. The property is clean and it is very obvious pride is taken with all the work that is put in.We truly struck gold with The Pointe!! Can't wait to return with friends and family. This place is atrocious when it comes to their service. 1) Floors not clean when we came in. Spots everywhere. Front desk said it was clean and no one came up. 2) Hair in bathrooms that we vacuumed up. 3) Told we had immediate beach access at Winston with umbrellas from the rental agency. Not true. Had to walk to Orange St with 2 little kids and beach gear. 4) 2 cockroaches joined us in the room this afternoon! 5) the bicycle rental guy gave us attitude today and told us to return bikes every night at 4:30 when we were told we could just keep them for the time we were here. Every morning it seems like we are scrambling to get bikes bc they run out quickly. 6) No spare linens, bc they are "full to capacity". Really? We just wanted a spare blanket so our child was not cold at night? 7) After all this, I asked to speak to manager of the property or the manager on call, and neither one is available. Won't be back for at least 2-3 days? So who then is running the place? Great Job Wyndham Vacations! Needless to say, it has been an experience so far. read more

The Pointe offers the best accommodations that are modern and classy, the best breakfast around offering a healthy menu and delicious drinks at BBB, a rooftop with ocean views for sunset and the perfect location for walking around and enjoying all of the amenities of Rosemary Beach. I have lived in this area for 20 years and so happy and proud to recommend this vacation spot to my friends. This is THE place that we were missing in our area for your get-away. read more

We would have given this place a 4 star review if our room had been cleaned better upon check-in and did not smell. To begin, there was coffee splattered all over the outside door of the dishwasher. It was very obvious as soon as we walked in....how could a cleaning crew miss that? Our room's floors were filthy as my daughter's feet turned black just from walking around the wood floors in our room. There was hair on the shower walls even before we showered so it was not ours! gross! The tile floors in the bathrooms were also not clean with spots all over. The cleaning crew needs to do a much better job! The final problem with our room was the awful stench!!! At first it smelled like a chemically smell or bug spray smell we thought. We were tired from our travels and the children were anxious to go for a swim so we settled with the condition of the room and headed down for a swim and dinner. However, every time we returned to the room, the awful smell was still present! We even carried the smell home with us unfortunately and our car and luggage stunk for days. After returning, the smell seemed to be a mix of cigarette odor being covered up with some type of spray. We even called to have them change the air filter hoping it would help the smell and it was so filthy and backed up, it appeared not to have been changed since the property opened. The property itself is great and very stylish. The rooms are very comfortable minus the mattress which is not very plush. The pool is wonderful and very large with comfortable seating. Poolside service is ehhh with an interesting homemade bloodymary worth a try. To sum it up, this is a great new property but it needs a better cleaning and maintenance crew. It would be a shame not to maintain this brand new and nice property and let it deteriorate so quickly! read more
