Everything from the ceremony to the dancing was easy and our company loved the indoor/outdoor set up. They recently built a new outside patio that could be used for seating or the dance floor (which we did). It is a covered patio that adds a whole new space to the area which was great for the flow of our party. Our guests still rave about how beautiful and well taken care of the event space was and how much fun they had. Also, Whitney was amazing to work with and very helpful in our whole process!

It is beautiful and rustic, but has the amenities you need for a successful event. Whitney and her husband who own the venue are super accommodating. I was planning the event from a different state and really needed trustworthy point people to contact and rely on their descriptions to pull the event off from afar. Whitney provided, photos, catering suggestions, decor ideas and was a great communicator. The day of the event, she and her husband were there to ensure set up and clean up were a breeze. They bent over backwards to ensure it was a success! Whitney did everything to help she could, including providing batteries for me that I forgot! I could not have asked for a better overall event and I am so thankful I found The Chateau! I highly recommend!

I called the Inn to let them know and they were more than understanding, saying that their restaurant would still be open by the time of our arrival and that they would have a glass of wine waiting for us upon our arrival. We did not arrive until 10:00 PM and received a warm greeting and as promised, the bartender was ready to pour us a glass of wine. We were able to sip it on the lovely outdoor eating area and fall asleep on the most comfortable bedding. Seriously, the beds here are magic. Rooms are very small and do not have A/C. Simply opening the window will suffice to bring in some cool air. Each wing has a communal bathroom. Bathrooms have all amenities needed moreover; each room has a cute bag of travel toiletries per bed. The building itself is both charming and formidable. While I see its potential, it is lacking in some upkeep and restoration. This the only downside. Something to note, there is a train that passes quite frequently and can be heard during all hours. This did not phase me in the slightest because of the wine. My favorite part by far was breathing in the fresh air and exploring the grounds in the early morning. The sky was beautiful and I managed to get in some pretty special photographs. It seriously put a smile on my face to see pigs roaming around and chickens out being chickens... With that being said, I would definitely stay here again should I find myself in the area.
