Number one, I never do business with liars. I have managed our pool for 20 years with (0) problems until your (lack of) service. Filter cleans are simple, and you have no business ethics to admit an error when made. By blaming the customer for your lack of doing a complete service says more about you and the company you operate, and other potential customers will read and make their own decision. Matt was awesome, honestly couldn't have asked for anything better. My Hot Springs Hot Tub Had a small leak and he was here within the next couple days. Turns out the leak required an entire part to be replace rather than one small fixture. Matt likely could've fixed it but thought it safer to have Hot Springs fix it directly due to some complex electrical work that was associated with this particular model. Matt coordinated everything with Hot Springs, delivered the new needed part, and everything was good to go. Awesome guy, straight shooter and felt he was honest through the entire process. Matt (The Pool Cowboy) is a nice guy. The pool service was sub-par. We got algae a few times in the 4 months he serviced the pool including black algae. Never had that issue before. He also recommended I buy a blue and white chlorine puck floater container for the pool to make it easier for him to use. That floater STAINED/DISCOLORED my formally perfect plaster on my top pool step with a dark orange color due to the trichloromine in the pucks. So in four months I had algae multiple times and my plaster was ruined. On two occasions, I came home to the pool pump running dry because of air in the lines, he didn't check it before he left. He also left our gate unlocked, with the lock left on top of our trash can. He also messed up our landscaped pavers in the backyard with his cart, weekly. Nice guy. Bad pool service. read more

Awesome experience! I had a party in a few days and had lots of spots of brown algae that occurred while my salt system was on the fritz for a few days. I sent a quote request to Matthew via Yelp and he responded within an hour. He had a cancellation and was able to get my pool in for an hour of service at a reasonable rate even though it was last minute. I met him at my house during my lunch break and he was already mostly done. He did a wonderful job and he seems like a very honest guy. Highly recommended! read more

Well I have gone through several pool companies and they all start out promising you they give the best seut tutrvice. Next thing i know they use a skimmer for 10 minutes where pool is still dirty and they are done. I got tired of this happening all the time. I was referred by a friend in the area about the Pool Cowboy. I met Mathew and he told me he will be personally be servicing my pool. Ever since I have been using this company my pool is always clean. Matt is a straight up guy, honest and most of all sincere, he takes pride in what he does. I am so glad I finally met someone I can trust, someone that knows all about pools and equipment and can fix them if something goes wrong. I also had asked him about an updated sweep and his prices were cheaper than amazon and other pool companies. I don't write a lot of reviews but when I am really impressed with someone as much as I am with Matt i had to put it down in words. If you find that your pool guy is not doing the quality work and promises you the world then it is time to find someone else.
