We have been a client for over 5 years and whenever we have an issue, New living Pools responds within 24-48 hours. Greatly appreciated.

1). My pool was not vacuumed when needed. The filter would be turned on all day to let the automatic vacuum run instead. Even though I pay in advance for this full service. I spoke to Chris and the first time it was addressed. The second time it happened it was not address. 2) instead Chris just decided to have a new pool cleaning company start cleaning my pool without discussing this with me at all. 3). This means he gave my personal address to someone I hadn't spoken to or discussed pricing etc with. 4) the real kicker is that Chris also gave the owner of this other pool company my personal credit card information without my permission. Definitely not only poor business practice but also illegal. read more

Third time is a charm! We just moved here. Never had a pool, the light wasn't working and neither was the salt water system. Two other pool services just wanted to sell us new systems or have a laborer dig up the light conduit and hire an electrician to run the new line. Hit or miss with this company. One of the guys who cleans my personal residence pool is great, although I'm also always home when they come. My rental property has been horrible service. Many times the technician leaves the pump continuously on. There have been issues with the pop up system that they never reported. It was detected one of the times they bypassed the timer and left the pump continuously on. Another time they quoted me a price to acid and bleach wash my pool, then automatically charged twice the price when they finished. They charged me the full filter cleaning fee after I had just done it. They had historically asked or let me know when the service would be done and I would let them know whether I needed it done or not. Instead, they just automatically charged my credit card. In my opinion, a pool technician should have noticed it had been cleaned less than 7 days prior. The other issue is that they used a large wrench to tighten the brackets to the pool filter. This is not necessary and has made it difficult to manipulate the brackets. My recommendation is that if you use them, or are considering using them, then you should schedule the service for when you are home and do not give them your credit card. read more

I scheduled another company to come out drain my pool and clean my tile. The guy showed up, drained it, started the job and then said he couldn't finish, too hard, and left me standing with my mouth open! I got on my computer and fortunately found New Living Pools, Chris. He was here in 15 minutes and said he could do the job for me the next morning. He arrived on time and did a great job! I don't know what I would have done. I highly recommend him and his company. My wife and I would like to thank Chris for his honesty and integrity. We called Chris to request a quote for an "Acid Wash" on our pool. Chris was in the area and offered to come over as soon as he finished his current job. Within a few hours Chris came to our house and accessed our pool condition and our request for an "acid wash". His response was simple you DON'T need an "acid wash". He recommended IF ANYTHING you could do a "chlorine wash" just to make sure any algae stains, etc. would be eliminated. Although, we have decided just to do a spot cleaning on our own, both my wife and I commented to each other how we felt Chris treated us with honesty and was very helpful with his expertise. This company is the epitome of what good customer service is all about! I found New Living Pools through a Yelp search, looking for a company to service my new pool weekly and while speaking with the owner, Chris, I mentioned that I wanted to install automation but needed to find someone to do the install of the equipment I was going to buy. He asked me what system I was looking at and I told him Hayward Aqua Plus salt water system with automation and Aqua Connect to control all the functions from my cell phone or computer. I told him I found a really good price for the equipment at about $1700 - $1800 for everything and asked him how much he would charge for installation. He told me he would call me back in a few moments and when he did, he said he could supply the equipment and install it for $1800! I was floored because it pretty much the same amount I would have to pay for just the equipment. I was expecting to pay several hundred dollars for the install since I knew it would be an all day job. Chris explained that he was able to get a really good deal from the Hayward rep so he passed it on to me. This saved me at least $300 - $400 and he could have easily called back and said he would charge $400 - $500 for the install but he went above and beyond and passed on a great deal to save me a bundle of money. I really appreciate his integrity and honesty in this, there are not many people out there that still operate with this level of integrity. Chris came out to install the whole salt water system with automation and web/Smartphone control this morning and spent the whole day working on installing the system. He just finished and everything is working beautifully. We can now control everything on our pool with our computer or Smartphone app. In addition, he even checked and balanced the chemicals in my new pool, which were horribly off and did not charge us a dime for it and even gave us the rest of the month free! I am just so happy I found New Living Pools, I know they are going to do an incredible job keeping our pool crystal clear and clean. I have done my research and New Living Pools has the best reputation of any pool service in the west valley. I found several other review sites and they are all the same, singing the praises of the owner, Chris, and his dedicated and hard working staff. You will be hard pressed to find a better and more dependable company to work with. I highly recommend them! read more

Chris reviews and good rating is the reason as to why I called to request pool service. When speaking with him I advised I was looking for a new pool guy because my current pool guy never shows up. I let Chris know I needed my pool service done by The weekend and he said, sure no problem. Unfortunately Chris never showed up either. I spoke with Chris around 830am he stated he would come out, I called Chris again around 1230 and he stated he would be at my house within a hour or so but he never came or had the professionalism to contact me and let me know he wasn't coming. When we first bought our house Chris was taking care of the pool that was last year August come January its a little colder so no swimming in the pool I figured I will wing it taking care of the pool till the summer big mistake. To make a long story short my pool had issues we called Chris to help us he was more than happy to come and see what's going on he did everything he could but my pool was not having it ended up we did have one of those old filters it was time to upgrade. This is the best pool cleaning service you can imagine. After struggling with balancing water in my pool for 5 years my wife and I gave up on it. We decided to try a professional pool cleaning service. I went in yelp and found the new living pools. The price was right and they had great reviews. I called them, they showed up the following week, since than they were always on time. The water in my pool got great within two weeks and after a few months the pool walls looked like they got replastered! I didn't believe my pool could end up looking like it did without me putting some serious cash into replacing the plaster. I since sold the house so I cancelled the service, but I deeply believe that I got a better selling price because of how the pool ended up looking. I highly recommend them! read more

We thought we had found the company to service our pool but unfortunately we haven't. I called New Living Pools to look at a few issues with our pool (a leak/problem with pump not shutting off with timer/pool cleaning system). Chris came out on 28 Apr 2016 and was able to fix the cleaning system (pop ups) problem on the spot. He identified the other issues but needed to return to fix those because he did not have parts with him. He said he wouldn't be able to get to it until the following Monday (2 May). I agreed. It is now 9 May 2016 and I have not heard one word from New Living Pools since 28 Apr. I don't know if I was forgotten or if he just doesn't need my business. I called another company that I couldn't get them to get the job done. Kept no call no showing and once I cut them lose I was in a panic to get me pool fixed because the pop ups weren't working, therefor the pool wasn't cleaning. I called Chris and schedule them for pop up cleaning system gear replacement/rebuild. They scheduled easily, arrived on time and were very nice and knowledgeable. They rebuilt the gears with ease and were in and out within 20 minutes. They took the time to educate me on my pump and settings and were a very respectful and courteous.
