With every service she makes sure that all of my hair is removed so I can definitely tell that she cares about her work. That dedication makes me feel like I'm in good hands. I can easily relax and just let her do her thing. Even though it's technically a painful process to get waxed, I can feel myself almost falling asleep because I'm so relaxed haha Marayah is also very friendly and funny so when we get a chance to talk the time just flies. I come here monthly, prices are reasonable and estheticians are good. But every single time I come, I have to wait 15-20 mins past my appt time to get my treatment. What's frustrating, is if I was 15-20 mins late to my scheduled appt-even once, I would be charged a late fee or not even given my service. Currently waiting 15 mins past my appt-while 2 girls sit up front and chat. One of which has done my treatments in the past. I don't understand why they are always so late on scheduled appts. read more

I usually get waxed by Marayah and she does a great job july16 I went in she was off and a lady named Ash did my wax, to start off it was painful and itchy after smh and then my hair grew back going different ways instead of one way , it's hair growing out my bumps ,my skin is darkening I have hair bumps badly everywhere even inside my lips and my skin down there is rough I've experienced this when shaving is why I gave up on shaving years ago because my sensitive skin . I had a great reputation after I stop shaving and start waxing my skin was lighting down there and it was smooth until I let Ash who works for pretty kitty do my wax she already had a attitude because I was 7 minutes late which I couldn't control cars were stopped everywhere due to a diesel catching on fire on fwy smh I forgive her and hope she does better in the near future but me going back sadly I'm not to sure :( I hope to never attract this poor experience again read more

I was serviced by Brooke at the Chino Hills location and she made an awkward experience more comfortable than I expected. I was serviced with the Brazilian, whole leg and eyebrows. I must say that I was extremely nervous because I am overweight at 250 pounds. I wasn't sure if bigger girls like me got the Brazilian which caused my anxiety and shyness. I let her know that I was nervous and she assured me there was nothing to worry about. She was very professional and kind. She exceeded my expectations as she explained the whole process and informed me of the after process. Now to my eyebrows. I must mention that I am extremely picky with who does my brows. I consider brow waxing an art and usually find my brow artist on IG. However, because of my experience with Brooke's service for the Brazilian and leg waxing, I ask her to do my brows days later. My complaint about The Pretty Kitty is about the new 'Tipsy' app they use to leave tips for the staff. You can no longer leave a tip when paying for the service. I love this place. I went before I was pregnant with a women named Jackie. She definitely respects the kind of conversations you want. So if you want to go in and talk up a storm or have a relaxing moment, she will definitely do so. I later found out I was pregnant and ask the receptionist if I could get an appt with Jackie again. When I went in At 34 weeks pregnant she warned me that the skin and area would be more sensitive (Brazilian area). I am super super SUPER glad she recommended me with some ointments since she saw that my skin has changed. I was here about a month ago. I love the look of the facility. Very nice, neat, and clean. The esthetician was a sweet girl. I think her name was Ash. However, I was disappointed with the service I received. I was left with some strays. In my other Brazilian wax experiences I've always been left super clean with any little extras plucked away. I've noticed that other esthetician's use both soft and hard wax for their Brazilians. At Pretty Kitty only soft wax is used. Maybe she was new? I'm not sure. Location was clean and staff were friendly. I have waxed before at European wax center and I wanted to try a new method and new place. The staff was gentle with me and friendly waxing my underarms. If I could give this place negative stars I would! My experience here was one of the worst ever. I don't remember the girls name who did my waxing but she was horrible. My Brazilian wax was extremely painful and she was just waxing her life away on my full leg wax. When she left the room she said she didn't get all the hair off my legs and ran out of the room. I found it kinda awkward the way she ran out. Once I looked at my legs and seen how hairy they still where I understood why she ran out. I didn't shave for 7 weeks she should have left my legs smooth I walked out looking like I had 2 weeks worth of growth. My legs thighs looked horrible. There was no way I was going to pay for my legs.At the end she didn't charge me for my leg wax. But I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Never coming here again!! read more

This place is great. I've tried other places and have gotten bumps. I came here and the wax they use is of good quality. The staff is great as well. They also have great music playing. I did have to provide them with $25.00 appointment registration fee which needed to be paid over the phone. I'm not sure if this is normal proactive for them but I was Uncomfortable giving all my card info over the phone. read more
