Having decided that I wanted to give waxing a try again, I was on the hunt for someone with the experience and portfolio that showcased the quality of their work. Jasmine was not only incredibly personable, which as you know is important when you're exposing a fairly private (no pun intended) area, but was also super knowledgeable about the whole process. She took extra care to make it as painless as possible and despite it being considered a "first wax" again; the pain was significantly less than any other places I've gone to. The previous times I've had a Brazilian done at other places I've always left feeling overly sensitive and unsatisfied with the end result. I can proudly say with Jasmine this is simply not the case. I didn't find that it was uncomfortable to sit any which way or that my panties caused any irritation to my skin. Jasmine was wonderful. She maintains a sterile environment but it's not bare and creepy inside like some airport bathroom. It's a cozy and very welcoming space. She was quick but it was very clear she knew exactly what she was doing. I normally get my Brazilian through EWC for the same price and this actually hurt far less than EWC normally does. Her tools weren't hidden or anything so you could see that it was sterile. She had fresh gloves and a fresh set of paper on the table as well. Did a great cleanup as well as worked with me on managing the pain factor of the Brazilian. DO NOT CONFUSE THIS; Brazilians always hurt. It's waxing your cooka. It's not a physically comfortable sensation. But going three months without a wax makes you more sensitive to it and this even hurt less than a regular EWC wax. She takes you to the space, and you are immediately greeted with cleanliness. There is new table paper, things are sanitized, and all the tools are sanitized as well! The table is next to the counter so you see it all. Jasmine uses new gloves, sterile tools, and disposable strips. I was a bit anxious because of COVID-19, but seeing that Jasmine is following the health and safety precautions made the experience even better and comforting.
