Monica calls and basically tells me she isn't looking at anything until they get my official transcript. Tells me I don't qualify for social studies because I don't have the (upper) classes. So I ask about business CTE, then says she would be happy to look at my OFFICIAL transcripts and she would need to look deeper at my ones I sent (unofficial) because she didn't look that closely at them. Wow talk about absolute laziness people. Their website says unofficial is fine for review to advise on programs. I have a business degree but they have "specific courses that Teachworthy requires". Okay so say that on your website and stop demanding official transcripts off the bat when your website say unofficial ones will suffice. She's a very rude person and has a very condescending tone when talking to you demanding official transcripts. Was really hopeful in this place because of the deferred tuition but geeze they just lie to your face and won't help you at all

Program... but after numerous attempts to reach someone, I looked for another program. Teachworthy is housed out of San Antonio and ultimately was one was the best decision I made. Everyone from finance (Mr. Queen) to Field Supervisor (Diane) to the ownership of Dr. Queen... the experience was a 10/10. I was in the loop and knew step by step of the requirements, next steps, and help along the way during the evaluations with the Field Supervisor. I have just completed my first year teaching as an Intern and have now received my Standard Certificate. Words cannot describe the appreciation I have for Teachworthy. You will not be disappointed in the staff of prior educators, their professionalism, and guidance.

For those of you that aren't familiar with how these businesses operate, it's very simple and it comes down to wether you want to travel to and from and the cost for the services. These types of tutoring businesses will not tell you the cost upfront. It's not in thier benefit to do so. Once you have disclosed the child's personal information and have agreed to what you're not 100% aware of what you're getting in return. Then it's a matter of putting up with commuting back n forth and more than likely experiencing another meeting to discuss that you have to fork up more $, now that they have determined what specific help your child needs. The point is this, these learning facilities never have a pricing sheet for parents to get an idea if it is affordable. Our family budgets and already hectic schedules need to know more or less, at a minimum, what's ahead. But to take up a families time and not know what you're getting is absurd. Tutoring apps and online sites that offer these services, all come with upfront pricing. And most of them come to you. Teachers make less than $30 an hour. Some tutors make as much as 50 an hour. Personally, I dont like, not knowing what tutoring will cost after an initial walk in. Tutoring should not be so non-transparent. We get that from our government already.

This is more than what it costs for a bachelor's degree at a 4 year college, and way more expensive than a 20 month (associate degree) at a local junior college! Imagine trying to pay off a student loan along with trying to make a living! A 2 year college would cost just under $10,000. Dental Hygiene for example growth outlook is only 7%, as many dentist only want to hire oart time and no benefits. $87,000 is not worth it. You might as well become a dentist if you're going to spend that much.

Now he is participating in weekly tech club on Saturdays to get ready for a semester long series on YouTube production. The facility is brand new and well equipped with the latest technology.
