It was something my sister and I wanted transferred to a digital format for our mother's 65th birthday with some reservations: every mayonnaise complected American has racist garbage in their family and there is a strong possibility that you have them on some sort of recording singing a racist ditty. We didn't want to edit that out of family history because we have to look at our ugly past in the face and name it. What we didn't want to was put someone innocent in the position to have to experience my family in their shame. They were really cool about it and thanked us for letting them know. It may have been a possibility to have it edited out but I didn't ask. Our younger generations need to see video of my great grandparents - who were just standard issue human beings while knowing other people in our family left something to be desired. We need to work on who we are and part of that is knowing who we are. They also did super work on transferring the VHS to a digital format and my mother and her father really enjoyed seeing familiar faces again. It was also done very well and quickly. I was also impressed with the pricing. It was really reasonable.
