I got Shellac nails done here but unfortunately the quality of the…read moretreatment was the lowest amoung all nail salons I've been to so far, in that there was no buffing, cuticle work or much filing at all. The nail technician just brushed my nails over with the back of a nail file as if to "buff" them which was sore, and then just did the polish without any further nail work. I've been to other salons around Blackpool where they do a lot more nail work such as properly filing, buffing and cuticle cutting, and charging the same amount. The online reviews were good but I was disappointed with the quality of the treatment. Another thing is that their opening hours seem incorrect; it says on the door and their website that they open until 8pm or 9pm Weds-Fri and until 3pm on Saturday, but when I went in they are actually only open from 9-5pm except Thursday, and close by 12pm on Saturday. The staff were all very friendly, which leads me to give 3 stars, but incorrect opening hours on the site and treatment quality has led me to deduct 2 stars.

The staff are very friendly here and great at helping me decide on colours. They also do acrylic nails, waxing, Eve Taylor and microdermabrasion facials, spray tanning, massages, hd brows, lash extensions and make up. A unique thing I don't normally see is that they also do 3D nail art and lots of interesting finishes like cracked glass, foil and ombre, so it's great for party nails or getting something unique and creative. Elan is located right opposite the Spire Hospital so it's easy to find, and they do a really good Caci peel non-surgical facelift facial which I found to be very good. They do massages, Eve Taylor and Dermalogica facials as well. One of my favourite treatments here is the gel polish. They use a stronger gel polish brand which is more durable and longer lasting than Shellac. Although it's harder to remove, I personally prefer it over Shellac as it's thicker, stronger and hence does not chip as easily. There are also nicer colours as well a number of glittery colours. The prices are slightly higher than some other places in Blackpool, but I find that the quality here is superior. It's popular among those working in the the Victoria hospital as well. Overall, lovely staff, quality treatments, very clean salon and reasonable prices.

They carry a wide range of both mens and ladies fragrances as well as body lotions and gift sets. The ladies at this shop are extremely helpful and often have tiny samples available, especially for new perfumes. Prices are often cheaper than the larger stores, so it is worth calling by and comparing the offers.

Booked a deposit and slot for today for a tattoo cover up…read more Didn't hear anything till this morning, told to come down and look at designs? Despite being told I would get a design the week before? Got there and the young girl called Megan who I was getting the cover up done by, shows me a couple of designs that just weren't up to scratch. I told her I wouldn't be able to afford today but could do tommorow? as she said tommorow would be free,but she just spoke to me rudely and told me I should get charged for 48 hours and to Not do it again. I would have booked another slot straight away but was a bit taken back by the rudeness. Such a shame these people and places can treat their customers this way. I won't be going back with my money anytime soon. Tom
