Many of those working there focus on altruistic endeavors. The CCO Lisa is great. She's very understanding and affable. She wants you to feel comfortable there. The space is clean. The working desks are roomy; there's a nice variety of desks, lounge areas, and private rooms. The ground floor maintains the essence of the old library structure at the original Albuquerque High School with high ceilings. Most of the buildings there are residential. Because this was an old school, there's a lovely courtyard to take breaks or work. The basement level is more cozy and modern and brightly lit. Perfect for an artist like me. Hopefully, there's a spot where you can spread out more if you have an easel. I love the vast open space and being around others, though I enjoyed the times when no one was there. Overall, FatPipe is on the quieter side. Everyone keeps their phones silent mode. Of course, you will hear collaborating and Zoom calls, but it's not loud. The carpeting helps with that. They have a weekly yoga session to start your day and 1 Million Cups. Lisa brings speakers in regularly. As an artist, I love that FatPipe is open 24/7 for monthly members and beyond.

When you enter the front door you will find beautiful new offices with lots of windows and a professional, friendly staff. Ask for a tour. I'm always amazed to find how Albuquerque is growing and how each new business offers great neighborhood opportunities to conduct local business. We wound up working there for most of our time here and really enjoyed it. We tried both the Nob Hill and Central locations, and ended up liking the Nob Hill location more. As of April 2021, the Central location is definitely having some interior work done and feels a little pieced together. That's why we ended up sticking with Nob Hill. Nob Hill was clean and quiet and provided us with everything we needed to get our work done. There's also great parking right out front. The Nob Hill area was really cool, and the nice side walks provided for awesome lunchtime walks. It's also close to some great coffee shops and restaurants for an afternoon break. Cierra was our contact at FreeRange and she was always extremely helpful and quick to respond. Would highly recommend this location for all your work space needs!

The SVEDC encompasses everything you wish you were doing while you watched the latest episode of Survivor and checked on Lindsay Lohan's Twitter posts. From TEDxABQ to The Mixing Bowl (a community kitchen for organizations feeding those in need), the place supports the south valley in countless ways. So many great things are happening here, in a community that knows Burque better than anyone else. So yeah, I'm pimping this biz. Great little space, nice couches, chairs, desks; even a counter where you can work while standing. The people here seem very friendly; I think they may start accepting Dwolla as payment soon as well. $5 for a day pass puts them in the category of coworking spaces that I can use regularly on my budget without worrying overmuch; the only other one for that price I know of here in ABQ is TechLove in Nob Hill. The building is beautiful and houses a number of other great resources helping small businesses and startups that I haven't even fully explored yet, and am looking forward to doing in the near future. But the coworking space is great. Great alternative to TechLove without breaking the bank.

Plus there is an indoor pool to use year round. We drove around and the neighborhood is kept very clean and pristine unlike the Meadows. No vacant lots or weeds like at the Meadows. The Vineyards has all large manufactured houses on permanent foundations and show a sense of Homeowner's pride with 2 car driveways. You may have to be on a Waitlist to move here - so that says a lot.

I lived here for 3 years, multiple things were wrong with this apartment! They didn't put more security cameras. One of my neighbors was held at knife point coming back into the complex and finally they hired a temp security guard but he's not there anymore (stayed for like a few month). Multiple things break in the apartment constantly and it's so poorly built there's not even a light in the room! And the walls are as thin as paper! The drawer in the kitchen is not deep enough to fit most silverware inside. The door leading to the patio there is a gap so water came into the house all the time. On the second and third floor the middle is falling in from poor drainage and the dishwasher broke towards the end. Once when the shower broke the Plummer had to cut out a hole in the wall and there was trash inside the two walls left behind from when it was build. Once we found a homeless guy inside the gates and he placed cardboard boxes inside and set up his bed, it was weeks before the owner did anything about it! Seriously save your money, live somewhere else! In a super bad area (admitted by the owner) and overly priced! I would rate this at minus five stars if I could! One star is a very generous rating
