Alisha is an amazing woman and small business owner. She provides my family with raw milk which we do drink (labeled not for human consumption as per nc law). We have milk allergies in our house and I know the pros and cons of consuming raw milk from growing up on a dairy farm as well as extensive research. Here nor there, her raw milk is phenomenal. The store is immaculately kept. It has so many herbal options! We specifically love the teething oil for my son, as well as the fresh locally grown and butchered meats! Her sons are both very helpful, and she always has cared for her animals in the best way possible. I would recommend the purple chicken to anyone who asks. Absolutely amazing store! I'm a crunchy mom of two and it is like I'm in heaven every time I enter the store. From the time I turn my car off until the time I leave, I feel so welcomed and taken care of! The little boy at the store is so friendly and always opens my door for me and greets me with a huge smile! He plays with my 2.5 year old while my youngest and I shop around. There's a little something for everyone, whether you're looking for fresh local meat, eggs, milk, etc. or you need a specific herb for a medicinal remedy, or just want some ice cream without all the crap added into it, or even need a clean facial moisturizer, they have it! What an amazing local business for our community. We visited recently and were so impressed with the variety and presentation in such a small space. The owners are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I spotted a poor review further down that was just ridiculous. My husband and & I love this place! We get all of our meat from here, we get pretzels, jam and so much more because why wouldn't we??? It's all amazing! My husband loves their herbal medicine that they sell for men. The owner is so sweet, and her kids are always the sweetest with greeting and helping you out whenever you need it! I absolutely love the purple chicken country store. I have bought chicks from the owner. They were very healthy and I was pleased with how they turned out.
