It was a bit of drive and the front wasn't very alluring with a few old cutouts to take pictures of, but the staff was very friendly, the prices very rea, and the mums were gorgeous (only yellow)! Also check out the hertiage pumpkins and gourds. They were so unique and perfect for decorating your porch. If you have kiddos, the pillow jump is fun, the shade kind of sits low (hits your head if you're tall) but at least there's shade. Watch out for the ants, they're in the sand box and by the fence if you want to look at the goats. Definitely get a mining bag. They have a fun water tower to sift your dirt and find some fun gems. I'd skip the ice cream shop but take a look at the flowers and the pumpkins. Bought both of those and they didn't break the bank. The corn maze should be open by now so that's probably fun. We came by on a Sunday morning right when they opened at 10 with our 1 year old and bounced around this little farm (but like actually bounced... on the huge in ground inflatable jumper, $5 per kid, parents jump for free). There were two goats, plants for sale, and veggies/fruit for sale as well as homemade ice cream. They do strawberry picking in the summer and pumpkin picking in the fall. I've passed this place more times than I can count and never stopped. A few Sundays ago in no particular hurry to get to my destination I stopped in. It was late afternoon and I found the place empty for one misplaced looking young man. I quickly found some bird houses I fell in love with but sadly, they were not to be mine. Once I tracked down the misplaced looking fella I was told they were just decoration. Once I recovered I wandered over to check out their fruits and veggies picking up squash (soooo good!), snap beans and peaches that were cold to the touch. I found this a mystery because it was 90+ degrees outside with 10000% humidity (yes, I'm exaggerating but it was super himid!) but as I was waiting for the misplaced Blondie to finish smoothing his hair I saw the peaches were in the fridge. What's so funny is as I picked up a peach for the freshness sniff and found it cold and clammy I did a scan of their farm looking for a peach tree. I mean, why were they in the fridge? Lol. Even though slightly removed fella seemed a little put out that I was disturbing his hair time I enjoyed my veggies and if I find my way down there again I'll stop in (if they're open). read more
