Warning... PASS on this place! So I tried this place out for what I thought would be a nice relaxing pamper me day. WRONG. First of all Elon was 10-15 minutes behind schedule and I was left waiting in the cramped 'lobby' ... totally inconsequential except for my payment info When Elon finally did get started I settled in for the three treatments I booked and paid for. Instead of explaining what she was doing as she was doing it, she proceeded to perform a random series of facial maneuvers which essentially entailed more ratting of bottles and equipment then actually doing anything hands on. In all honesty she only did about 50 minutes of hands on treatment although I paid for 90 minutes. And then wore RUBBER GLOVES!!! Heads up... if you don't like to touch skin..DON'T get into the SKINCARE profession. I had to listen to almost two minutes of rubber snapping in my ear as she switched out gloves mid way through my 'relaxing spa treatment' The very opposite of a "spa" atmosphere. Waste of time and money. Beyond disappointing. And as you exit it's a non stop sales pitch for the marked up beauty products and training sessions they are hawking. Don't waste your time or money here. And pay attention to the official 'certificates' in the treatment room... filled in with sharpie... hmmm. read more

I was referred to Rhonda by a friend of mine. Mind you, I have been searching for a good massage therapist ever since I moved to Indianapolis in April of 2011. My search ended with my first visit to Spirit Soul and Body Wellness!!! Rhonda truly has healing hands. Being that I'm allergic to most man-made medicine (aspirin, penicillin, ibuprofen/Motrin, etc. etc. etc.), I use acupuncture, massage and aromatherapy for any illness, pain, and/or muscle sprain. I've gone to Rhonda for a relaxing massage and came out feeling like a limp noodle where every knot or tense area on my body had been loosened and released. I went through a spell of migraines until I discovered that the culprit was chalk dust. During the worst one, I literally crawled in to see Rhonda. She took one look at me and ushered me into a different room. Now, I've had different type of massages, but I had never been introduced to cold stones. Hot stones yes . . . cold stones no. In less than 20 minutes using cold stones and oils in a cranial facial massage, my off the charts migraine with nausea and lights was pushed back into a past memory. Being a full-time college student and part-time teacher, I am able to fit a bi-monthly massage into the budget by buying into the 6 month unlimited $35 hour massages for $100 and splitting the $100 fee with one of my friends. Even with a 20% tip, my wallet smiles in relief. I highly recommend Rhonda with bells and whistles!!!! read more

This was the worst pain I had ever felt in my life. It was incredibly unprofessional and she kept going over the same areas over and over and over again. The wax burnt my skin, it was dangerously too hot and she kept telling me that's the way it was supposed to be. My pain tolerance is pretty gosh darn high, and this place left me in tears. Then, when I got home, I saw tons of hairs still left behind. I had paid a lot of money for a Groupon bundle (for 3 waxes) and after this experience had to throw the rest away. I DO NOT recommend this place. I haven't gotten a wax in 3 years because this scarred me so much and has made me permanently afraid of waxing. read more

I went in for a Brazilian wax about 3 days ago, my skin is still irritated, I am extremely itchy and have a constant burning sensation. This is the 3rd time I go in at the Pynk Monky for this type of service. The first 2 times I met with Elona who was great, however, this last time was with Rhonda and it was one of the most painful experiences ever. It appeared to me that she was rather inexperienced and aggressive in her approach. She kept alternating between regular wax and hard wax and seemed to not know how to use regular wax. I am considering to go to an urgent care because of the amount of pain and discomfort that I am still in. It hurts so much that even sleeping at night is uncomfortable. I would like to make an official report so if anyone has any advice please let me know. read more
