The private lot but it's basically a large room filled with dusty products that haven't been purchased and probably never will due to the age of the item. Very Amish oriented and for the people that don't live in that way the items are of zero use. This isn't a grocery store. They sell fabric and farm equipment along with kitchen wares. Lots of sewing supplies and such things along the lines of that. If there is a specific item like that you're looking for the. This would be the place. I also found the employees to be unfriendly and judgy because I wasn't Amish. Or at least that's how I felt. I wouldn't go back but it id locally owned so I would support it if I had something there I needed.

This store used to be, years ago, "Ben Franklin" which was a fabric and craft store franchise, which no longer exists other than as a brand name which can be used for a fee. The owner, Dawn (a charming and hospitable lady who told me exactly where to find everything I asked about) explained that they didn't care to do so, and the store has been Fourman's Variety for quite some time. And variety is what you will find in this very large and thoughtfully arranged shop. Everything from spices and kitchenware, puzzles and games for all ages, school supplies and stationery, to greeting cards, gift wrap, housewares, pool supplies, pet needs, seasonal decor, giftable items, and a full aisle of candy with many nostalgic classics. PLUS a whole room of fabrics and sewing accessories, and a wall or two of crafting supplies. And....tons of used books for sale! Prices were quite reasonable throughout. Store is open six days a week, parking on the street. I am thrilled to have found this great variety store. Honestly, do you really want to spend your money at Dollar General or Walmart? No, of course not! You want to come to Fourman's. Come to Fourman's!

Period we met the owner when we arrived and he was phenomenal such a gracious gentleman we came about an hour drive to get here and I think we're gonna come back here more often. This is a well-maintained and nicely organized facility; with a wonderful selection of fabrics & quilting related items from which to choose. The staff were friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed the variety of discounted fabric bolts available; and especially had fun digging through the scrap bin, to assemble a $5 bag of nice pieces. We also purchased a beautiful finished runner, quilted by the owner's mother. This is definitely a shop we hope to revisit, when again in the area.

It looks really small from the outside, but it is one of those long buildings, so it has more room than you might expect. But make no mistake, the place is small compared to the big commercial fabric stores that most towns have. We parked out front and entered. This place is packed to the gills! Every square inch was loaded with fabric, or patterns, parts, accessories and in the back, they even sell vacuum cleaners! We worked our way around the store and my wife found some items she liked. I liked that even though the store is smaller, they had several folks working so that all the customers were being waited upon without delay. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and made us feel welcome. As you might expect, the amount of fabric here isn't as large as some of the bigger quilt shops, but they do have a nice selection. If you are looking for a new quilt project, this place is definitely worth checking out. Review #3584
