This place was a wonderful and fun experience! I loved my creation! You are walked through each step so you do not get lost (listed below). The painting I picked was a bit tricky because my stencil was thin in some places. Ella and Caren helped me a lot with the stencil and made me feel calm. I was anxious about how it would turn out and they were encouraging. They even showed me how to fix mistakes after the stencil was removed! They served alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks. They with a stamp they identify who wants alcohol/who can have it ;). They also have snacks as well. All tools and paint are provided. Process( you are walked through) 1. Sanding 2 Distressing 3. Staining 4. Washing (optional) - let it dry in front of fan 5. Apply Stencil/paint 6. Remove stencil (before paint dries) 7. "Scratch" off imperfections 8. You did it! read more

First and foremost owner/management not very good at communication when a situation arises. The staff that run the shop do not have access to management during classes. The staff isn't very well informed of specials going on and make you feel like an idiot when you ask questions about it. When teaching the class they are not very informative and often skip over steps and have to go back and explain the step they missed. I have been to many classes in different facilities and this one is by far the worst. I highly recommend driving a little distance to a different shop especially if your a frequent customer you will appreciate the positive difference elsewhere read more

What a fun experience! I came to B&B for a work holiday part and it was a great time! Parking can be a little tricky, but there is a lot behind the building and spots on the street if you can snag one. First of all, the space is beautiful and welcoming. You feel right at home as soon as you walk in the door. The staff is friendly and super helpful. They were patient and walked us through every step, event taking the time to help us individually when needed. They offer complimentary wine, soda and water. We were even able to have a carry in and bring our own food. They were flexible to make the experience whatever you want it to be. Since this was a corporate event, it was a little different than the typical experience (boards were put together already). I will definitely be returning for a girls night out! I attended a Yelp event at Board & Brush and it was SO much fun! I would love to get a group of gals together and make a day of it. The projects are darling and can be tailored to your ideas and visions. The price point is a bit high, imo. $65, but you do get a lot. They give you all the supplies, provide instructions, and you get complimentary wine and wine slushies!! (Soda and water provided for the non-drinkers.) The staff was super helpful and there were a lot of them so it seemed like whenever you had a question or needed help, they were right there to assist you. There are so many possibilities with groups, too. Couples, friends, family. It would meet the needs of all ages. And even better, you don't need an ounce of artistic ability to make your project turn out perfect! I would recommend Board & Brush to anyone and I can't wait to go back!! read more

What a fun time. I went with a large group but still felt like I could get individual help every step of the way. The interior was really interesting. It felt like a combination of industrial arts class and Magnolia (Joanna Gaines) workshop. The wine slushees were good and the cookies were amazing. There are so many product options. I'm not artsy or crafty but felt like I would have something cool when I left. They said they can schedule private group events as small as 15. Everyone working seemed interested in helping you and offering advice. There are some other cute interesting places around I'd also like to go explore. read more

I had such a great time at Board and Brush! As I walked in I noticed that there was ample room for everyone to work and the workspaces were well appointed. The entire space was just beautiful! The staff was super friendly and very helpful. There were free snacks, wine and wine slushies to drink throughout the sign making process as well as water and pop. Instructions were given as you worked. It was hard to believe that the plain pine board I started with was transformed by me into this wonderful sign that I just love! The workers are so helpful and I'm not a super artsy person and they make it so easy by showing step by step from connecting the boards, staining, laying the stencil, and painting. Loved the hands on activities we experienced as well as the fact there was a staff member there to guide you and offer advice to what would look best and things that work together to get the full effect on your work piece. Was lucky enough to attend this establishment during a yelp event and I absolutely was not disappointed. They offer wine slushes as well as soda and water. This was a birthday present and I loved it. I made up my own design when we arrived it was not quite right. No problem after a short consult made me a whole new perfect stencil.
