Came here with friends for catch up. Location was difficult to get to if using public transport but if driving is pretty straightforward and even has a car park in the back. It's a typical old man's pub and surprisingly quite welcoming to newbies. It is quite spacious, has quite a few tables, well spaced out. They do have something on every weekend whether it be karaoke or a live band. It is children friendly up to 9pm then no children allowed which I think is fair. One of my friends had her son with her and they were really accommodating which was nice. The drinks were reasonably priced and the bar was very well stocked. There's no food served here but they are ok with you bringing in food from one of the nearby takeaways and eating it here. If in the area it's worth popping in for a drink. A bit out of the way just to make a special effort to visit. Due to the location and where my friends live I might come in again. read more
