Awesome potential in this place! Food trucks gotta stand on their own reviews but as of their opening month of July 2016 their bar organization & staffing is a Fail. Drinks are SLOW & then your $7 beer is under poured. They hired an unexperienced bar staff for maybe the toughest job in town. This Friday patrons were in a 20 min line to order beer. On a cold February night, this place a warm, welcoming spot. Live music and shared tables made for a cozy atmosphere. A variety of beer, cider and wine selections with a few food trucks and a fire outside. I imagine this is a popular spot on warm nights, as there is large patio and a place to play bags. We all got smothered burritos from the food truck and would highly recommend them. I've been dreaming about the pork carnitas for days. read more

This is my first time coming here, and I was super excited to try this place out. Unfortunately I had a bad experience at the bar: one of the bartenders was rude to us, after waiting for 20 minutes in line only to learn there is an "official" line. No bar I've been to has 1 line. You usually can order at the bar if there is a bartender there. If you are going to have that rule, at least make it obvious. I want to like this place, but this isn't a great start. **UPDATE** After talking with the owner, a lot of things have been set straight, and it seems that some kinks need to be worked out. I've been coming here for years and they never fail to impress me with their food trucks and beer however my most recent visit was nothing short of terrifying. Boulder county has a strict indoor mask mandate that many people here don't follow, and more importantly the staff don't do anything to enforce this mandate and keep our loved ones safe. I will say all the staff were masked up and doing their best (as always) but customers ordering from the bar and walking around didn't seem to care about the rayback staff or other customers. read more

This place has become the Chuck E. Cheese's of Boulder. It's filled with kids running around and screaming. Definitely not the place to go for beers or cocktails with friends, but good if you have kids and dogs and want to get drunk while they run around. read more

We went last night to try out the Rayback Collective and we were pleasantly surprised. It is a super hipster, Boulder area that will win your heart over. We went on a Wednesday night around 8:30pm. There were only 2 food trucks available, which I thought was a little light in offerings, but it was also late on a Wednesday night. We got one entree from each truck and the food was delicious. It was packed with people hanging out outside. Inside was the bar and it was about half full. There was live music and friendly and attentive staff. This is a really cool piece of Boulder that you should try out. Be sure to read the menu to learn about how the Rayback Collective started - nice piece of history. We will definitely be heading back for a night out during the week to hear some local music and try some local flavor. Two thumbs up. read more

As a Colorado visitor, this was an awesome flight from the normal Midwestern bars that I've been to. There was just a certain sense of welcoming vibe that the bar, bartenders, and other customers were giving off. If you are looking to try multiple types of beers, this is a great place to go to as well. Their flights are low to just right priced, and contains more than enough to share. Unfortunately, it was raining when I went, but from the reviews below, it looks like they sometimes have food carts, which would have been a GAME CHANGER! Pro-Tip: Go when it's nice out, or at least not raining and enjoy the awesome outdoor area they have (equipped with games and many areas to both sit or stand!). read more

Pros: Always an amazing taplist. Great outdoor space. Good service. Cons: Limited parking (but right on the bike path!). Seldom are there many VEGAN options in the food trucks. It's usually a Meat Fest. And what the F is going on with the TOXIC PERFUME stench?! It seems like they are actually blowing some air freshener fumes into the (indoor) space (?!). This place is awesome! It's such a fun environment for people of all ages, even your furry friends! The beers on tap are very good, there's a great selection for everyone and the prices are reasonable. They have great food truck selections too! The bartenders are incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable about the beer selections. My boyfriend and I went for the first time last night to see Ben Hammond play and had a blast! I really want to like this place way more than I actually do. The atmosphere and concept are great but most of the food is way overpriced, the bartenders aren't friendly and they really need a full bar! The worst part though is that on both of the occasions I was there there was an older gentleman playing live music solo on stage....he wasn't very good and had no energy at all. Such a great place for groups to hang out! Food trucks rotate, as do the beers on tap, so there's always something new to try. Seating inside is comfortable & spacious. Outdoor seating is always full. Kids seem to enjoy the games, and it's fenced-in and away from the street & parking, so very safe for them to run around. I love hanging out here! read more

This is a cool concept but definitely needs a little refinement. The ambience is great- they have plenty of seating: the indoor boasts a nice bar area, with a live music stage and couches, while the outside has plenty of picnic tables and wood chairs. They need to work on their PA system for the live music, it can be difficult to hear. The music is loud enough, but it's hard to pick up on what's being said. Also, I'd like to see more food truck variety. I know food trucks can be expensive, but I spent $8 for 5 tiny dumplings from Ginger Pig.... Overall, the beer selection is great. I'd come to grab a drink with friends, but I'll definitely pass on dinner here again. read more

I was in town for a long weekend and my friends took me here. It was a great experience! We found a table in the back large enough for everyone. There was live music and we could hear the singer just fine in the back. Liked the large beer selection and all the food trucks with diverse food offerings outside. Overall had a great time and I look forward to coming back next year when I'm in town. read more

There is literally no place even remotely like this in Boulder: outstanding beer, a constant rotation of the best food trucks in the region, and more space to spread out/linger than anywhere I've seen north of Denver! I can't think of anywhere else you could hang out with a large group of people without either overstaying your welcome (by taking up a table) or getting bored because eating/drinking is ALL there is to do (they also have cornhole, live music, great indoor/outdoor space, etc.). This place has a good atmosphere, the staff is friendly and I like that they have an outdoor space. However, it was miserably crowded, and we were told by another person that it's always like that. There was literally no where to sit inside and outside, so we ended up awkwardly standing by the food truck and leaving after finishing our drinks (which were expensive for a small portion). Rayback collective has good beer. Nice vibes. A bunch of indoor and outdoor seating. Play some corn hole or horseshoes and bring the whole family... I mean the whole family. Probably as many people under 11 as their are over 21. Good spot for outdoor drinking and food trucks but no where near the most impressive beer selection in Boulder. That being said it's worth checking out rayback collective at least once. Also be aware in the summer that they don't have AC inside. read more

As patrons of the bar we enjoyed two delicious local brews. One star for the brewers efforts. We found our delicious malts by no help at all from Nelson and Andrew. Which would have been excusable had the line been out the door but after asking for a recommendation they stood frozen, staring blankly at me as if I asked a question in a foreign language. So we perused the menu and ordered. And then we watched in horror as the bartenders poured new beers after they wiped their beards, hair, pants, and dirty bar top without washing their hands. Gross.
