This was one of the first places we saw, and as soon as we spotted a Spiderman blow up riding on a dinosaur inside, we knew we had to check this place out. The Inner Geek is great for all ages, and has all kinds of stuff to go through. They seem to primarily be about books/comics, but you can also find action figures, Funko Pops and trading cards here too! Everyone here is really nice... Love this store!

I wish my father could've came with me when I went through this museum, because I think my dad would have enjoyed himself immensely, considering my dad loved horsing around with the guts of old radios and things like that back in the day. Granted, the museum is only open on the weekends, but it's definitely worth a look, along with the donations, if you can give one. The guys that run this museum are super nice and knowledgeable.

Another place I can't believe I haven't reviewed…read more I want to say my first visit here was in 2016. At the time I lived in Columbus and was in the Ironton/Portsmouth area to see family and had randomly found this spot at the mall. Over the years I had visited both locations mall and the downtown Ashland location shortly after it opened. It's been a few years since I've been in as I now live 4.5 hours away compared to 2.5, but was in the area on Wednesday. I had stopped in and browsed and was even more impressed with my finds this trip in addition to what I've found over the years. They have everything from Kenner Star Wars to Han Soloflex POTF 90s Star Wars to MOTU to Thundercats to Power Rangers to Strawberry Shortcake & Movie Maniacs. Staff is great and prices are fair. Definitely another spot I always try to hit in the area.

The short concrete trail was well maintained but couldn't make out where the branching trails were. Everything seemed to be overgrown which was kind of a bummer. Really enjoyed the firearms collection. Staff were very friendly and gave us a little tour of the conservatory which the kids loved. They also enjoyed the craft room and the gift shop. What little bit of the museum that I got to see was amazingly beautiful. I only got to stay at the museum for a little bit, because they were closing the museum at the time. The staff allowed me to stay inside with them long enough for the storm to finish blowing through. I hope to come back to visit again soon, because I would really like to get to go through the museum to see it in its entirety.

Really cool studio showcasing the paintings of the owner/artist/designer. But also they have…read morelessons on creating pottery! The create-your-own-pottery is the highlight of this studio for me! The equipment is really nice, and the studio is open and sunny. The artist, her name is Homaira, is a nice and thoughtful teacher. I visited this place with a group of friends (ages 2 - 30), and we had a fun time making our own mugs with pottery! I recommend this place to go to if you want to try create something on your own.
