A beautiful venue with attentive service. They were a bit late getting our family event started, but otherwise no problems.

Was supposed to have the full building then 2 days before party they told us we didn't because they doubled booked. They didn't refund us anything. Then on the contract they told us we could bring aguas frescas of lemon and horchata the manager/owner started complain because we couldn't have outside drinks but it clearly said it on the contract. I truly would love to share the amazing service my organization received Sunday May 4th. We hosted our 2025 graduation for our winter/spring participates. The staff was very attentive to our needs. Had a repass there yesterday and event staff didn't help for one minute stood around while we were doing table settings everything. Catered ourself didn't see any stove to keep food warm only frig. Feel that if renting your staff can do a little more than just stand there. read more

If wish someone would've warned me not to book this place. The attitudes and the disrespect of the owner Kim and her niece Aniya is very sickening. First off let's begin my saying half the deposit was made in May 2024 for a July 6 event, deposit made by the Mister. Few days later as I went to go visit the location, Aniya's attitude wasn't welcoming at all, bad vibes. As were discussing the event all the additional add-ons being mentioned, let me see the contract that was signed, was any of this discussed pryor to signing the contract, the response was we can email u a copy, which mind you was suppose to been emailed when the Mister booked the. Fast forward to beginning of June, I reached out to inquire about final payment due date to Aniya, she responded let me know June 22, 2024 ok cool, no problem there. I also reached out to inquire about cancelation policy ( still hadn't received the emailed contract), she's not replying. Had the Mister to contact her she replies, but now its we only consult with the contract holder. Strange right. Let's keep going. Now June 21 is here, we're reaching out to find out what time to meet Aniya on June 22. No answer, no response. June 22 is here,no response, now June 23 we're calling and texting, and I guess an auto response gave another number to call. Call that number set a time with KIMBERLY to meet that Friday. Now its time to meet, we approach the place call to let her we were outside, Ms. Sarcasm said, we open the door and come in baby, I replied I would if the door wasn't locked. Bad from there during that meeting, she even told one I wasn't go change her policy, I said im trying to get an understanding of your policy and your business with the lack of communication and technically breach of contract since Aniya was a no call no show ( because if rolls were reversed). However, she called herself giving us a break by not charging 200.00 to b added to insurance to bring in food. Party time. A day before maybe 2 days before now a partial contract is emailed with an invoice that is upcharged tho. Aniya finally reached out to the Mister to discuss the layout, ( which we've done already with Kimberly so why are you calling after all time . ) And again Ms. Aniya gets rude and disrespectful over the phone. The night of the party, things went left Kimberly was called, tried to cancel the party by calling the police saying the music was to loud, and yes we know it was you. The party continued we had a good time. The way these people treat and talk to people like there nothing is absurd, even was disrespectful to the kids. Sad to say this but its so hard to support your own. The hospitality is not there, they are not friendly, and needs to leave family business at home. They made add one star, but we'll say that's for the place. read more

I would strongly advise against choosing this venue for your event! It is overpriced for the lack of professionalism and poor communication. My friends and I planned a celebration for our milestone birthdays and began planning months in advance. When we originally booked with the Red Door Meeting Place in December, we received excellent communication and professionalism from the original event manager. After the staffing change, all communication, organization, and professionalism declined drastically which made the event planning process incredibly stressful and disappointing. I would not recommend this venue to anyone looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable event planning experience. read more

I attended a repast June 22nd at this venue and the courtesy, empathy, understanding and care of a grieving family who just lost their Father and Aunt was horrendous. Yes! This was a double repast. The Caterer and servers did not get into the establishment until 1:30pm because they were told there was no booking and later retracted and apologized (there was miscommunication with staff). Just Own it!!!! The funeral services were over at 2pm and people were headed over to the venue to find servers and caterers were still setting up....EMBARRASSING! I've never seen an establishment managed on such a poor level. I'm assuming this is a first time owner of a Venue of this sort. Hopefully, management classes, along with training for will will bring this beautiful venue up to standards. Long way to go. Very very disappointed. :( read more

If you or your family have an event at this venue CANCEL if you can or ONLY USE CASH!!! My sister rented this venue for her birthday party. They had a bar and several of my family members credit cards were used the VERY NEXT DAY! It took a while to discover due to the fact that fraud happens often but when several family members reported back confirmed that their credit cards were also compromised the next day it didn't take a genius to figure out that one or both of the bartenders were stealing! When we contacted the owner for a resolution her and her staff were very unprofessional, offered no apology, or assistance getting to the bottom of it. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE. It's very sad that you try and support a black owned business and this is the result, it left a stain on a beautiful evening and I was going to refrain from taking this to social media but the people deserve to know.
