I contacted an employee after I couldn't find it on the shelf, they went to the back and got it and brought it out to me. I then asked her if I could still get the discount even though we did not place the order online because it was quicker to come in and get it. She said yes and to make sure the person at the register gave me the discount and to tell them that the lady in the back said to give it to us at the discount. The comforter was marked at $180 and with the discount would only be $72. So I went to check out and the lady rang it up and I proceeded to tell her the story of how we saw it online but didn't place the order because it would have been quicker to come in and just get it and that the lady in the back said it was ok to still get the discount. The lady listened and then said that she could not give me a discount, but that I could get the discount by applying for kohl's cash (which I learned is a credit card) I told her my wife didn't have to do that to get the discount. She then told me that their internet pricing is always different and that I needed to use a "kohl's kiosk" in order to get the same discount. So I walk from the front of the store back to the center of the store to find this ancient machine (honestly the tin man on wizard of OZ looked more updated than this thing) anyways I still had a tiny bit desire to try and make my wife happy and buy the comforter. I had to consistently smash the touch screen to get any response all while trying to enter my email to get an additional 15% off my purchase. After I signed up for the emails the kiosk from the Jurassic age told me that it would send me an email confirmation. After waiting for 5 minutes I never received one and ended up ditching my efforts to buy the comforter. Honestly I never shop here and will never shop here again as they were so unwilling to help me get the same discounts that my wife was able to get online. I've had two orders with them on back to back days. The first order was for a winter flap hat that…read morehas been discontinued by the manufacturer and impossible to find online. Believe me, I tried for weeks. I found it on CampSaver and promptly ordered. I received an email a few days later that the hat has been discontinued so the order will not be completed, along with their sincere apologies and asked me to contact them to discuss. I contacted them immediately and the woman I spoke with was very courteous and refunded my order at once. I was a bit nervous after reading the reviews, but they took care of me. It would have been nice to know they didn't have it in stock prior to ordering, but I understand business so I was happy the rectified the situation in a professional manner. A LOT of companies do that so I usually call prior to ordering to make sure the product is on site, but it was late and I didn't want to take the chance of missing out on it. My 2nd order was for a Fjallraven parka and to say I'm happy how smoothly the transaction went is an understatement. The shipped the parka the very next day, I followed its progress online, and received it this afternoon (5 day process). It's a killer parka at a killer price. Prior to ordering though, I did call to make sure the jacket was on-site and they weren't the middle man of this transaction, which they confirmed. No issues with me!

Worse, they offered no assitance AT ALL in trying to get the package redirected to my new address. There excuse was that when I bought the item, I gave the (old) address. Wow- where is the logic there?? And, to make matters worse, the customer service guy copped a bit of an attitude with me over their mistake. And, when I got the item, it was a grey market version- different color scheme than sold in the U.S. Be very, very careful with them!
