I saw some really beautiful pieces here. including military memorabilia and some vintage large cast bells. A well laid out maze of booths and cases. Some new hard crafted items along with the vintage collections. If you can't find something here to take home you didn't look hard enough!.. There was even a small outside flea market setup with local vendors when we stopped in. One minor thing I should probably mention... There's kind of a funky smell at first. You get used to it and it's not overwhelming. It could have just been temporary/seasonal so don't let this note discourage you...

We were very pleasantly surprised with how good they tasted. My latte was perfectly sweet and even had cold foam on it. For two drinks it was $10 which is super reasonable too! the menu is vast and has some unique features. Most of the drinks include cold foam/sweet cream.

Adjacent to the antique shop are a small home decor shop, a coffee shop, as well as a green house. The setup almost makes it a little self contained roadside village!

Davis Brothers banned me from bidding on Hibid because an auction company based out of Peru was…read moreselling fake paintings through Florida. I tried to reach out to the auction company out of Peru to retract my bid on Hibid. They denied the retraction of my bid on a reproduction painting by a famous artist. As I was the only person who bid on the painting, I won the auction but told them and my credit card company I would not be paying because the auction house refused to allow me to retract my bid and labelled me as a non payer for not wanting to buy a fake painting. Davis Auctions denied my allowance to bid on their auction because of this false claim. My wife formed a Hibid account and was denied to bid on their items for no just cause. We also have an account on Auctionzip. We bid on a Navajo piece of pottery, won and paid for the piece to Davis Auctions.. We recently asked again if we could bid on their item on an upcoming auction because in my mind we had proven we were honest people and honest bidders. I was told by them via email that I was banned on all accounts and I was told via email to "stop complaining".

We hit up the candy store first which had a great selection including fudge, delicious pecan turtles & even pickle flavored soda, which we tried and amazingly was good although different. They also had a very nice clean bathroom. We then walked over to the gift store and normally I'm not one to love gift shops but this shop was so well laid out that it was easy to shop and man was it fun. I literally found something for 6 different people in my life...my sister, my mom, a few friends. They have something for everyone! I found myself laughing out loud when reading signs, socks, kitchen towels and more. We spent about an hour here and I could've spent much more time but again, this was just supposed to be a quick stop. I can't wait to come back!

First time I was here they had a kids holsters on a belt with 2 guns. I didn't buy it and I am still kicking myself for not buying it. 2nd time I was here bought a 6 million dollar man lunchbox. This time I got a cast iron clown money bank, a red rider BB gun, and other fun stuff. Spent $132.00. They always have antique toys which makes this store my favorite. They have a thriving pie business. While I was there a family came in to get a pie for a special occasion and left without looking at any antiques. They have a couple of outer buildings for antique furniture.

It's a good thing I brought the truck for this trip. I ended up bringing home an entry way table, lamp and two shelves all made from reclaimed wood. They are stunning! Perhaps the best part of Recycled Homestead? The Mastiffs. The owners breed mastiffs and typically always have at least one in the store. Being able to love on a dog (especially a gentle giant) certainly encourages me to spend more (which I did)!
