Absolutely terrible. We made an appointment online, got an excessive amount of text and email reminders to make sure we showed up on time, and then we sat and waited for more than 30 minutes past our appointment time and were never seen. Under no circumstances would I recommend this place, or ever return. No consideration for customers, cannot stay on schedule, and completely wasted an hour and a half of our time driving there, waiting without receiving any service, and driving home. This is a zero star establishment. read more

Horrible quality hair cut I hope no one goes here. I asked dom to give me drop fade/a blow out low fade he said ok. I asked if he knew how to do a haircut like this aswell as offered to continue to show him this picture of what I wanted he said he was good proceeded to give me a cop hair cut. I will now have to wear hat for 6 months and regrow my hair thank you for making me look like a cop. I will never go back horrible experience. read more

Went in for a cut and beard trim, remember trim its a key word. Got my haircut and asked for no product since i wear a hat at work and it comes off alot. My hair waa cut longer then requested and styled with product, didnt notice until after i showered that evening. Then looking at my beard i noticed that my trim was about 3ish inches taken off the bottom, but not the neck, so i have hair coming off my neckline that 9 inches long and hair off my chin thats 4. The sides of my beard were 1.5 inches on one side and 4 inches on the other. Needless to say not happy at all. They offered a free cut to fix it, cool, but being a single dad it costs me to get a sitter to take my one day off a week to come in for a cut. They wont refund me my 40 bucks for the cut, so now itll be 140 for a haircut that they didnt do right in the first place. Ive been going here for 3 yrs now but i DO NOT RECOMMEND anymore. Am not happy with the owner being so childish, see below, he retaliated because i put a review of MY expierences. Terrible place imo. After my review on google they messaged me on facebook, banned me from the store, and blocked me on messenger and their facebook pages. read more

Sorry I've had my haircut there a few times and it was great. My last haircut was with Frank and the guy didn't listen to anything I said and just decided to cut my hair how he wanted to or to his skill set and absolutely butchered it. I thought it was weird how he never faced me to the mirror and until he was done then slathered in this product to temporarily fix his absolute HACK of a haircut. 1/2 my hair was stuck like glue to my scalp I had to wash my hair 3 times to get it all out. This guy has no idea what he's doing and should be giving buzz cuts, sweeping floor, and answering the phone. Thanks to this guy I'm so angry about my haircut I will never be back. I'd rather try my luck at Supercuts. At least you know you're going to get a bad haircut there. read more

When I first walked into Region's they greeted me right away. Even though I was a walk-in, I got my hair cut in about 10 minutes. I can't say enough good things about the atmosphere here, they have a nice open concept When it comes to the floor plan so you're able to sit down on the leather couches and watch the game, and not feel like you are on top of the person next to you. It definitely seems like they take pride in being a true barber shop with all the barbers knowing how to actually cut here.. and do what you're asking. The barber that cut my hair was Macy and she did a really good job! As far as the other people there they all do great work from what I could tell, but I would highly recommend Macy as she did a great job on my hair cut. The only problem for a walk in is that they get packed, so you might want to call ahead to see how long the wait will be. I will definitely be going back! read more

I'm very happy to say that Region's Barber shop certainly has it with a big five stars. I'm visiting from California and found this quaint little barbershop where Frank cut my hair and I had the best of times. It is a very down to earth local barber shop with plenty of talk and everyone is Super Friendly, and I got a damn good haircut. read more

Made an appointment for my son's haircut based on a friend's recommendation. Got there only to find out the stylist, "G", had called off. Nobody else there had an open slot. Not a single notification that the shop had cancelled until we walked in. They may be great at cutting hair, just bad at showing up. read more

Ok. Imma keep it real. I've had tons of fades from a few barbers. By far this is the WORST fade I've ever had done. I don't know if its lack of skill or just not doing a normal fade on different types of hair. I have thick nappy wavy hair and man it's botched up badly. If you have my type of hair. I have been coming to this Barber shop since 2017 and don't plan on switching anytime soon. I have been getting my hair done by Macy for 5 years, She does a tremendous job with fades of any type. I get a medium bald fade and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend going to her. read more

Was a big fan of Pete's in Valparaiso, but four different times I showed and the doors were locked tight at around 4, although the sign on the door said open till 5. So I went here by chance one day when I was shopping in Portage. They usually do appointments, but took me as walk in. What a great cut, and they acted like I was a valued customer. Treated me like true professionals, and gave a cut that was the best I'd gotten in some time. Got to try them. read more
