Picture a day that was a little cloudy, fog in the hills, and the sound of a steam locomotive in the distance. Traveling up the single-track trail in the forest felt like we had gone back in time. Our guides were so great, so informative, and helpful. We chatted about just about everything, but mostly horses and how to interact with them. We started inside on Sheena the Wonder Horse. I have to say, the state-of-the-art simulator really helps to get comfortable in a number of ways. After that, it was on to the arena & Valentine, a real horse Rusty Bar Ranch owner and trainer, Kathy really knows horses & also cares about them. She was such a kind & patient teacher. I felt totally comfortable & at ease. She teaches at every level, depending on the student.
