**BRIDES & VENDORS BEWARE** I am a professional wedding photographer and in the four years I have been shooting weddings, I have never been so appalled by a venue owner's attitude towards a vendor until I shot at this venue and dealt with the owner Angela. She seemed offended that I wanted to take the bride and groom off the grounds to do their photos. Unfortunately, the venue lacks foliage (yes it was fall, but even in the green season - there wouldn't be much). It's surrounded by houses and there's a General Dollar in the background. I simply wanted to make sure that my couple had gorgeous wedding photos with a nice backdrop. When finding out if I was able to use flash, she told me I could but she'd prefer me not to as it's "distracting" and "takes away from the moment", and it's up to the couple what they want. That is when she turned to the groom and says that the photos will be a little fuzzy if flash isn't used, and won't be as sharp as they would be if flash were used - so they'd need to decide if quality photos were more important than the quality of the moment. She made it clear HER photographer doesn't use flash. Her statements tell me that you won't receive quality product using her photographer, as flash is really needed inside the venue as it's dark - even in the middle of the day. Next, I was doing the dress shot and hung it from a nail that was already in the molding on the door. I moved a table that wasn't even completely setup about 3" back as I needed a little more room to get the full dress. She flipped her lid on me in front of both the bride's mom and groom's mom. We were all shocked and appalled. She told me not to touch, move, or hang anything - that her and her staff would do it. So as she requested, 15 minutes later I asked if I could have someone come move a small coffee table in the bridal suit. She was nasty in her response of "YOU can move that." - I let her know I was just doing as she had asked. She is rude and unpleasant to work with. For someone who helps organize peoples' special days - she isn't very friendly. I would highly recommend considering her attitude before booking with her venue. I had hoped maybe she was just having a bad day, but after reading the other review, it seems it's not a bad day - it's her. read more

My daughter had her wedding and reception here. It was amazing, everything was perfect. The owner is a wonderful lady. She went above and beyond to accommodate the ideas for the style of wedding and had lots of great ideas from previous venues held there. She has beautiful decorations that can be accented with your personal items and chosen wedding colors. She provided us with plenty of time to set up before the rehearsal the evening before and then in the morning before the ceremony. She even provided an iron and ironing board so we could remove some pesky wrinkles from transporting the clothing. My daughter chose to use the all inclusive option. The staff provided excellent service but remained well in the background as they went about their jobs. The food was served to the guests at their table and was hot and delicious. The photographers were very professional and remained out of the way but did offer suggestions and asked if any special pictures were wanted so as not to miss any opportunity to document the occasion. They captured many beautiful romantic moments as well as the guests enjoying themselves. The pictures taken were of excellent quality and no flash was ever used so their equipment must be top of the line. Every part of the place was maintained at a comfortable level during the ceremony, dinner, and reception. I dont even know where to begin. Angela was perfect and professional from the very first day. No surprise costs, completely customizable packages and we chose the all inclusive package. Her vendors are amazing as well. Her florist was phenomenal. I went in with no real idea what I wanted and she knew exactly what went perfectly with our theme. Her DJ was a hoot. He was fun to work with! And her photographer, he captured every aspect of our day. He took photos that were candid enough that we can relive the day as if it were just yesterday. Her wait staff were professional and they did everything just perfect! Her venue is absolutely gorgeous and decor options were exquisite. She captured our vision perfectly along with a few of my own personal touches. Angela gave us ample time for some setup and shes flexible. She has amazing options and a payment plan that helped us have the best day ever. She was a lifesaver as we had no idea where to begin! We wouldn't have changed a thing!
