Not the perfect rings I expected. Instead very crispy, tangled brown morsels with a subtle spice. Beware the gassy aftermath! We both ordered the 300g steak and ribs (pork) combo. The ribs were short on meat in my opinion but still delicious. My steak was cooked perfectly medium as requested. Served with your choice of one side and sauce. Easy-to-miss on Goonoo Goonoo Rd . Look out for it . It's not a dine in restaurant but when the food is this good takeaway is fine. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine this is a must-do.

There are also a few slot machines, I mean pokeys here, which is fun if company ever gets dull. Knowing Aussies that never happens. The pub meals are also quite good. I had the meat pies with the mashed potatoes. The meat pie was great but I wish it came with some gravy. Same for the mash potatoes. They did not have much seasoning but we're better when I put some butter and pepper on it. When I was here on a Friday night the place was packed and was actually really hot in there, once I'd opened a window it was better. There was also a retirement party that night and they had a couple of bag pipes and a snare drum for the occasion. The sound of it was fantastic to hear. Really was a great night to enjoy the country feel of Tamworth. (I put the review for the restaurant and hotel because they share the same building)
