Blink and you'll miss this little hole in the wall along the main street in Gloucester. Make sure that it's on your to do list whether you're just passing through or staying in town. You know it's good when you can't decide what you want to eat because everything just sounds so darn delicious! Firstly the coffee tasted excellent and was very well made and strong. They use Pablo and Rusty beans which I hadn't had before but I shall now be seeking out around Sydney if I can. The food was also divine! I had the pulled pork brioche which was mouthwatering. The pork almost melted in my mouth and the apple sauce on the bun was home made. They also have a range of delicious homemade cupcakes and cakes in a display case as you walk in. The white chocolate and raspberry and the cherry ripe cupcakes were the personal favourite of the barista so we had to try them and there were no regrets there. There's also a variety of local wines from the Gloucester and Hunter Regions for sale as well as on their menu. They seem to do tapas style foods at night which I can imagine would be a great treat! We had an overnight stay at Gloucester and this was one of the few places that were open. Over-generous servings. Spicy meatballs were great. Calamari not so good. Churros excellent. Kids meal sensational. Attentive staff. Licensed. We had a $20 bottle of Bluering Chardonnay from WA. Total bill was $74 for three. Fairly new - it has only been open since Christmas 2014. I had bookmarked this place based on the buzz on social media. Yelp will up soon too I am sure!:) Their decor, branding , vibe is so cool! eccentric, funky and warm at the same time. You cannot miss this wonder window in the tiny Gloucester town where almost all the Cafes and shops are on the same street. Make sure you check their business hours before going. We headed here for a big breakfast before our big day of trekking at the Barrington Tops National Park. My Hubby had the eggs and Bacon..and was quite delighted to try the thicker sumptuous variety of bacon..and I could keep my hands off the hash browns. I ordered the waffles and it was as good as I expected. The food was delicious, plating was appetizing and it all seemed so fresh. Only please don't serve frozen strawberries guys..just doesnt go well with the high quality you guys have set and the awesomeness on the plate. But everything else made up for it! We couldn't have dinner or lunch here..but will surely do if we ever are in Gloucester again. read more
