My 3 children attended this school and I am forever grateful to their teachers and the administration.

The answer to any question or concern is basically " we are a private charter school we can do whatever we want" not joking. nothing was told to us about not being able to provide an after school program 2 days before the start of the year !!!!!! Totally unprofessional/unacceptable. Basically the short version. My wife was told 2 days before there will be no after school for pre-k she basically stated she hasn't been happy with the way administration has been handling things ex. Principal and vice principal going on vacation at the same time 14 days before the school year starts. Principal called my wife and stated "if you don't like the way administration handles the school then maybe your child won't be happy here". This place is a joke

Additionally the children complain about the bread always being stale and the lunch only being good on Friday "pizza day". The pick up line is a nightmare even if you arrive 30 minutes prior to pick up and are the first person in line officers will make you move essentially making you the last in line because they cannot have cars blocking traffic being a two lane street . Additionally the school does not allocate funding properly for the best interest of your Childrens education if your child is spectrum or has any kind of learning disability this school will straight up fail them rather than using the additional resources "charter schools" have to help your child catch up . Lastly the school is in a very bad neighborhood with a food stop just one building down which has drunk men sitting on the corner publicly drinking beer and smoking out of pipes .

The warmth, kindness, and genuine care from every staff member create an environment that feels like home. What makes Aguamarina so unique is not only the way children learn through play, but also the emphasis on emotional development, values, and a sense of belonging. Our children are not just learning--they're thriving, surrounded by love, patience, and encouragement. The teaching method is truly next-level, blending structure and creativity in such a thoughtful and meaningful way. Aguamarina isn't just a preschool--it becomes family. Our oldest is now in Aguamarina Elementary, and our youngest is in PK3 after starting in PK1 -- she absolutely loves going to school! Aguamarina Preschool offers a warm, nurturing, and innovative learning environment. The teachers are dedicated and caring, guiding each child through a journey of discovery, creativity, and emotional growth. We're constantly amazed by how naturally our daughter learns and how she applies new knowledge in her daily life. The school's hands-on and personalized approach truly reflects the new era of education -- children learn by exploring, playing, and connecting with the world around them. We couldn't be happier to see both of our daughters thriving in such an inspiring place.

Ok,so this is the second year my kid is in this school. When…read morewe we're looking for a preschool for our toddler we initially wanted a Montessori as it was highly recommended by few friends.Anyway the school was already booked for the next year. We did a tour and liked a school, and we were pretty satisfied with a year our two year old completed here. We decided to continue, but this year is a different story. Actually a friend of mine whose kid was in different class, pulled her kid before this school year, pointing out that school has some issues. I don't know if that's because the director changed or the school run out of money, but activities became so limited. Most of the days kids just doing coloring and painting, not much of diverse materials are used even though you pay for it.Last year was much better regarding this.Curriculum missing some creativity. This year there have been zero field trips even though they were promised. Instead of taking kids to a museum tour as a field trip, they invite you(it's optional activity)to bring your kids on the weekend for a museum tour and charge you like 60$ per ticket.Ridiculous. Christmas party that was planned for a while was basically a bounce house. Other important thing, they are short on staff. The pictures of daily kids activities are posted on the app not very often. For that I don't blame the teacher(my kid teacher is great by the way, knowledgeable, passionate and caring and we really like her),but she is by herself most of the times so obviously can't do everything. On the good note, the school is very clean, super safe, everyone is friendly, the atmosphere is great, front desk ladies are amazing, very communicative and always there for any questions, ready to help you out with a smile. My kid's teacher is amazing as well, she pours all of her heart in care for the children. So to conclude they should invest more (financially and academically)to make a better experience for the children.

I am not sure about the other parents but my experience here was not great. I have a three year old…read morethat had been at the school since she was 9 months old. I felt it was a place for babies since that required less work as far as developmentally. Once my child got to an age where learning was to come into play, I felt it was less than par and I was constantly having to monitor her growth there which is exhausting when I have to mention things like letting my child run around with no clothes on because she used the bathroom instead of calling me to bring her a change of clothes. Or that she would leave there with her shoes on the wrong feet, meaning no one took the time to notice that she put her shoes on improperly when she is at a age when her feet are also developing and walking around in shoes that are not on right is detrimental to the growth of them. She has come home a few times with scratches from other kids, one time a bite, and even her eye got pocked so I had to bring her to urgent care, all incidents I was NEVER called about, I discovered them when she got home which tells me they are not being watched. I would spend the weekend potty training her and she would be there for two days and revert back to diapers because they were not taking the time to keep that up. It was only after I kept bringing it up and refused to bring diapers anymore that it finally started to change. And even at first they would send her home in diapers that were too small because again LAZY!!! The daycare owner or manager will actually talk about your business with other teachers and people who don't even work at the school! For instance, I had someone from my GYM ask me why Stephanie (the owner or manager not sure) was asking about my living situation and my sister. Yes, this actually happened. I never addressed it with her because that is apparently who she is but def kept it in mind. That is not only unprofessional, its immature and this lady runs a school my child goes to! She also is famous for deflecting any issues and making them someone elses fault. I.E. one time I went to pick up my child and her shoes were on wrong yet again and she actually said to me "well she put them on that way so...".. Really , thanks dumba$$ for the clarification, so should I sit and tell my three year old to watch how she puts on her shoes because it can impact the growth of her feet.. or tell the owner and teacher I pay hundreds of dollars a month to to look after the kids they watch!!?? That's a hard one... ahh NO its not.. its her fault!! My child's behavior slowly went from loving as a baby to frustrated and annoyed and defensive and protective every day she was there. Now at three, I can see that the environment there was not a pleasant one. Proof that I made the right choice in leaving is the fact that She has only been at a new school for two days and her whole attitude when she comes home is different now. Coincidence? I think not! I will never recommend this daycare to anyone ever. And if you have a child that you want to have a loving, caring, responsible, nurturing and educational experience, then don't take your kids here either! But, if you don't care and don't mind your kids spending most of the day watching movies and/or outside and eating junk food, then its the place for you! I loved one of the teachers there but she was unhappy too and ended up leaving so that was all she wrote!
