My dad's 75th birthday and I wanted to send something special. I ordered a sansevieria plant in a really nice planter with a balloon from their website. I specified "NO SUBSTITUTION" because I did not want a dish garden sent. When my mom sent pictures of the item delivered, guess what! It was a dish garden! and no balloon! I called the shop right away, sent the pictures to an employee and expressed my absolute dissatisfaction with the plants they had sent. The employee stated she would bring this to the owner and they'd be in touch soon. Well, I've called several times since--the "owner" is never available when I call and I haven't heard anything about making good on this mistake. The original order was October 21; it's now December 14 and still nothing. When you contact a florist in another state, you expect that they have some intuitive knowledge that you're sending a gift because you can't deliver it yourself and take extra care to ensure a great transaction. The Rose and Vine does not have take this care and apparently doesn't worry about bad reviews and losing customers. Must be nice to be so successful. I will never use this place again and will spread the word how terrible their customer service is. THE WORST! read more

I ordered these flowers while I was out of town. I wanted to use a local florist, so I decided to give them a try. First of all, my flowers were not delivered on the day they were promised. Secondly, what I ordered was an arrangement in a unicorn vase. The whole purpose of choosing this arrangement was for the unicorn vase. When the recipient sent me a photo of the arrangement, it was not in a unicorn vase at all! It was a plain square vase. This arrangement was for a very small child who had just lost a parent. I was very disappointed that they misrepresented the arrangement. I can see substituting a flower because it is out of season, but having a completely different arrangement than what was pictured is just wrong. read more

Ugh. We were told that their website prices were not correct and that if we purchased from the website that they would just email us asking for more money. Expect to pay $10+ more than what the website says. Also, no clear cut off time for same day delivery - they told us that they would be able to make them, and then when we called back 10mins later around 3:10, apparently the florist had already left and we would have to buy a refrigerated bouquet. "The Flower Basket" was much more accommodating to our needs! read more

I live in Atlanta but needed a very last minute arrangement delivery on a Saturday in Brunswick. The florist was very attentive to what type of arrangement I wanted. The price was reasonable and delivery time exceptional. The recipient was very happy with the arrangement received and me with the excellent service. My college daughter's ordered a blue and white arrangement for me for Mother's Day ... at great expense . It was scheduled to arrive on Friday. When it didn't, my husband checked in with our daughters. They called vine and roses and asked when it would be delivered.... Saturday came and went... no flowers! Sunday morning my flowers arrived. They were the WORST looking arrangement that I have ever received.... not only were they NOT blue and white ( which I understand during the pandemic this year)... but they looked as tho they had been thrown together with the last flowers in the store!! I texted "Susan" the following week .... explained that I appreciated the Sunday delivery... and explained my issue with the "less than stellar " arrangement, and asked that my daughters received a "partial credit" for the flowers. My response was that the "owner " was out of the store and she couldn't make that decision.... fair enough.... I have texted a few more times .... no answer.... I texted again today and Susan was very nice, and said "the owner will not give a refund.... your flowers were valued at more than your daughters paid"..... Really?? I have had BEAUTIFUL arrangements from this store in the past ..... BUT.... if they are not willing to work with you when there is an issue... and they take advantage of college kids on Mothers Day.... WHY WOULD ANYONE USE THIS SHOP??? EVER???? I have ordered flowers twice from The Rose & Vine to be delivered locally in the Brunswick, GA area. I never asked how the first order was when delivered. Now I'm wishing I did. My second order I was there shortly after flowers were delivered. They were NOT what I ordered. I replied to the email that was sent to me, unfortunately it was a Do Not Reply email address. I paid for a Teleflora's Be Happy Bouquet with Roses. The pic on website shows it with a smiley face mug holding flowers. Rose & Vine delivered a plain glass vase. This was for an 8 yr old's birthday. That's the only reason I ordered this bouquet - the emoji smiley face mug. This was on 10/27/18. Today is 11/8 and I still have not heard from them after calling and emailing to their yahoo address. Buyer beware when you order from them! read more

I received a visit from the Manager today. She was amazing. She apologized and also brought me a basket (not needed, but appreciated). I believe that this is not the way they conduct business and the person who caused the issue, was not the owner and has been let go. I am thankful for this visit and heartfelt apology. I will certainly give them another chance in the future and feel confident that it will be a great experience. Bad reviews are not always a negative, it gives good businesses a chance to shine in the face of adversity and they sure did that! I ordered flowers for Valentine's day on the 11th, trying to give enough time to get every think right. I live in Jacksonville tried to order local there and bad idea. Got the wrong flowers sent and zero help from the company to fix the problem. I am in sales and hope i don't treat my customers this way. Not happy at all. read more
