I can't believe I haven't reviewed these guys. This is the only floral shop / florist in Darien but that hasn't made them complacent. I have used them for floral arrangements for my Mother countless times. Now that she's no longer with us - in recent years I've ordered fruit baskets and peace lilies. We lost our dear Aunt last week and one of my brother's classmates also passed away quite unexpectedly, I was able to text Sherry (the owner) during off hours and take care of payment over the phone. She is always very accommodating and the quality of the arrangements has always been extraordinary. She has even snapped photos of arrangements and texted them to me to make sure I'm ok with everything. Highly recommend. read more

Doodlebugs has flower power. I stopped by Doodlebugs to get some flowers for a baby shower. They had diaper cakes and a cute diaper wreath already made. They had great ideas for the flowers at the shower. They didn't have the flowers I wanted when I stopped by, but the owner ordered them for me. I was so happy with the customer service. I ordered a variety of flowers from Doodlebugs for the shower. I also ordered several balloons for the shower. One of the other girls helping with the shower ordered a beautiful flower arrangement from Doodlebugs. Doodlebugs delivered the arrangement to our house. They delivered the arrangement on time. They even color coordinated the flowers in the arrangement to match the colors in the nursery. I've seen arrangements Doodlebugs created for a wedding and a funeral. Doodlebugs is a wonderful little flower shop with gifts and lots of Georgia memorabilia and red/black stuff. The shop even smells like a florist shop is supposed to smell....like carnations. I've had to run to Doodlebugs in time of emergency when an employee died suddenly and a fresh wreath was delivered within a short time. Spur of the moment flowers for a gift - always fresh, always available. Cute place to shop. Nice ladies to get to know. read more

Our Sunday School class bought flowers for 2-15-15 for our teacher, whose mother had just died. We knew the flowers would be more expensive because of the proximity to Valentine's Day and gladly paid the 'upcharge'. However, we p[aid $144.45 and got an arrangement with two very dying hydrangea, one healthy, four lilac roses, lillies, and daisies in a plain, clear vase. Everybody in the class was embarrassed. When the member of the class called to ask if there could be something done, the person she spoke with said she had $79 in the flowers and would not do anything. We wanted to buy locally,but will not in the future. read more
