I gave my wife the gift of a 90 minute massage. She had set the appointment but wasn't able to get out of work until what would have been the end of the session. When my wife went to reschedule her massage she was told that the gift card was charged as if she attended the original session. I can understand a percentage fee or penalty of a missed appointment. But voiding the 90 minute gift card in full to me is unconscionable. I have bought gift cards there for her before, my daughter has bought gift cards there before. NO MORE, NEVER AGAIN. read more

Me and 3 other girlfriends of mine came here today for a 45 min salt session and had a great time. Cost us $80 to reserve a room but we split it between 4 of us came to $20 each. The experience was beautiful and relaxing. We felt lifted in our chests, noses and overall mindsets. The only reason we took off 1 star was because the woman I think she's the owner was a little pushy to get us out and we didn't feel comfortable to even look at the little store there because we felt like she just wanted us to leave... if that's a matter of just having a strict COVID paranoia I hope she realizes that if you treat people that way, they may not come back. This is the first impression I have on this place and plan to tell others about my experience. I just think if you want business as a small business then you really should be welcoming customers with hospitality and a positive attitude from start to finish. She didn't even encourage us to look around at any of the products on the shelves. I read that another reviewer said the same thing about the poor hospitality. Interesting because I know what they are talking about. I would be willing to try this place again for different service and try a massage maybe. read more

I wish I could leave a negative or a zero. I try to support local business owners. This lady was in our local newspaper. So I planned a birthday treat for one of my best friends. Booking the service I booked for 8 women. I was told that afterwards we could use a room to have a treat and some wine. Which we intended to do. We brought one bottle of wine (to each have a glass and toast the birthday girl) and Sublime cup cakes (which is another local business and is amazing 5 star all the way owner and staff is so sweet if you get a chance visit them). From the start the owner was rude! Stay away this was the worst business owner I have ever met. She just made me feel unwelcomed and so sorry that I supported this place. It ruined the day and I left in tears. Not to mention it was a terrible way to celebrate my friends special day! She has set up a room to wait in with coffee and water however whatever you do don't attempt to drink the coffee I guess it is just for show. This was the area she told us we could use! We decided to skip the wine and just drink a cup of coffee and a cupcake, she barged in hitting the birthday girl with the door! Yelled at us for making coffee and basically told us to leave. I felt like a child scolded by a parent. The experience ruined what was suppose to be a fabulous celebration! Terrible waste of $150!!!!!!! read more

Every time I drive pass this place I'm thinking it is a restaurant until my best friend asked me if I wanted to go and explained it to me. Now I knew what pink Himalayan salt did to food but I didn't know what it did to the body. A group of us came and it was so relaxing. The lady was really nice. You get a locker to put your stuff in. No food or drinks allowed it the room. When she opened the door it is this mid size room with pink salt everywhere. We sat in chairs and got comfy then she turns on the air to the room and you start to taste the salt and inhale it. One of the things that the salt helps is with asthma and respiratory problems. I had a cut under my toe and when the salt hit it it burned so bad but it cleaned it and healed it quick. When I left I noticed that my breathing was different, better actually. I really enjoyed the time here. It was relaxing. This is a must try for yourself to really understand. Please go! read more

Horrible experience! Owner is very rude! This was supposed to be a nice relaxing afternoon for my friend's birthday, but instead my friend and her elderly mother left in tears. Not only was the owner rude and condescending, but she became very angry when we drank the coffee in the waiting room. She shouted at us and humiliated us. The owner hit my friend with the waiting room door, knocking her over, and did not even apologize. While sitting in the salt area, I immediately became very itchy. I didn't think much of it, until I broke out in a rash all over my feet and ankles. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the place/salt not being very clean. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend anyone wasting their time or money here! read more

We have been here over 6 times since they have opened. This is our go to place when we need to truly relax and get away for a bit. The place is adorable and has a calming vibe throughout. We always use the private room. I love the chairs and listening to the peaceful meditation tracks on the individual head sets. There is a cute little room you can go in after your session to enjoy a calming cup of tea before going back to reality. The owner is beyond sweet and welcoming. read more

This place is amazing! I was looking for a place to engage in some self-care and I was intrigued by what The Salt Lounge had to offer. Also, being an asthmatic/allergy sufferer, I'm always looking for relief for those symptoms. Upon arriving, I was greeted by a wonderful young lady who explained how the experience would work. I had booked the 45 minute salt therapy experience and since I was by myself, she set me up in the private room. The room was pleasantly dim and lit by two huge Himalayan salt lamps, with pink Himalayan salt covering the entire floor. The chairs were extremely comfortable and I sank into my relaxing seat and covered up with one of the provided blankets. I was given an MP3 player loaded with calm, relaxing music, calming sounds and a few guided meditations. I find it very hard to relax, so I did one of the meditations called "The Beach", which helped to put my mind at ease. From there, I was able to fully relax and enjoy the experience of being still. After the session concluded, I felt amazing! My airways were clear, my stress was gone and my mind was peaceful. I also recently brought my boys (2 and 6 y/o) for their first session and they loved playing in the salt while I relaxed. Overall, The Salt Lounge is a fantastic place for self-care and I highly recommend it! read more
