After weeks and weeks of trying to tell Therapist, Case Manager and the doctor he is getting worse and needs more help or medication change. There is a signed release for them to talk to me but only twice have my calls been returned. After speaking to Donna yesterday and her telling me I had to take back control or my son would "die" (yes, she did say that). She recommended a law enforcement go to my home and he needed to be brought in for a hospital stay. With any hope he could get help at a crisis residential facility where it would be more that 3-4 day stay. She offered to make the call to police and was going to contact Mary the Therapist at the hospital to let her know what was going on. Mary would person to do the psych evaluation in the hospital. I was at a friends (for safety reasons) when police arrived and my son would not let them in. They left, my son still home and NO promised call back from Donna!! This woman is a supervisor whom I requested to speak with after getting no return calls. I called her back about 4pm the Friday before Christmas. I am first told she was not available and then oh yes she is available. "I will put you through" said the front desk. Nope!! Voicemail and I left a message. How can someone a supervisor no less tell a mother her son is going to DIE and then leave you hanging????? Is this a professional working for Community Mental Health??? As a mother who is doing everything possible to help her child she leaves me with that and does not follow through or call me back. I am appalled at the unprofessional behavior of someone who is supposed to support the family and the patient.
