I had a few things to donate - which is around the LHS of the building - you'll need to back out as there wasn't much room to turn around. Seems they support both local and abroad causes, which is super. Staff seemed friendly, and are made up of a large portion of volunteers. I saw them online in a search and got there a little too close to closing as it was a bit of a hike. They let me take a quick 5 min to look around. Planning on going back.

In the aisles, the items were organized based on what they were while the at the ends of the aisles (the side near the clothing) were organized by colour. The prices seemed to be lower than the couple of thrift stores I have been to. They don't calculate taxes on what you are getting so if you spend $5, you will pay $5 which was a shock to me (in a good way). I will probably here many more time in the future. I would totally recommend coming here.

This plaza gets pretty busy and parking seemed to be packed but if you're looking for the Donation Centre, it is located on the right side, where there is additional parking. There is also a curbside area with signage directing you to pull up to for drop-offs, there's no need to park. At a glance, the Donation Centre looks to be very clean and organized. There is a large door open on the side of the building for donation drop-offs. We were told to leave our donations in the doorway, and the staff will later retrieve and sort through them. They operate with contactless donations - how convenient! Goodwill works with organizations that provide assistance to those with barriers seeking employment and upgrading their skills. What doesn't get sold in their stores, gets rotated to other locations, to Goodwill outlets, then sent to textile factories to be upcycled and repurposed. If you're looking to donate your items, please support non-profit places like Goodwill, rather than for-profit businesses in the area like Value Village and Talize.

I've been to tons of Value Villages and only seem to have a problem at this location, when a certain person is working. She seems to impose her own set of rules that don't make any sense. When she's working, if I have an item that doesn't have a price, chances are, I'll probably be leaving it behind. Case in point: Picked up a pair of vintage, black aviator sunglasses from the regular sunglasses wall. No price. Upon checkout, I give it to the worker who's managing the self-checkout and a while later, manager-on-duty prices it $24.99!!?? Lady, I grabbed it off the wall - not your overpriced showcase. If it was originally priced at $24.99, why would it be in the "wild" with the other cheap sunglasses? Another time, I asked her to reprice a girl's jacket that was priced as a women's. She was ARGUING with me that it was a women's! Jacket was for a 6yo. Completely miserable, unreasonable, right fighter, and seems to NOT want to sell things. Baffles me since it's a retail store.

I love their ideology which is creating an organization to meet the needs of all humans without discrimination. They happily accept accessories, antiques, collectibles, clothing, electronics, computers, housewares, media and books, seasonal items, textiles and toys. There are a few things they do not accept due to sanitary reasons and I suggest if you're not too sure always visit their website to check before heading there. I'm a firm believer in decluttering off and on-I really don't set a specific time of the year to do that I just do it whenever I feel the need.And that gently used goods will make a difference to someone's life tomorrow just gives me a sense of joy. I highly recommend that you check all the donations well before handing them over. For clothing I generally check if there any rips or broken buttons. And for toys I generally check the condition and if they are working properly. These are my two mains. They drop off is pretty Convenient. You just go behind the store and you can leave at their back door. As the world has become more conscious and preloved stuff is becoming more and more common. I love buying silver silverware and crockery from here. I have bought some gorgeous antique silverware from here and some beautiful bone china crockery for a fraction of cost. This location has plenty of parking in front of it. The staff is friendly. Not sure about exchanges but it's best to ask before buying. This location is fairly clean.
