The owner, Abby, is engaged, thoughtful, and incredible with kids. She is easy to contact and responsive. The classroom management is pretty stellar (which isn't easy in a preschool room!), and my son loves the food (they provide all meals and snacks throughout the day, which is a huge plus). They have a great outdoor space, and their hours are super convenient. They looked after all the kids very well, and we felt very comfortable leaving our baby with them. They did a lot of art work too which adorns our house now. Lacking Empathy and Basic Human Kindess…read more I had been hired by Kiddie Academy with the hopes and promises of advancing my career in early education only to find discrimination and cruelty. They have admitted to being against hiring males specifically and fired me as soon as they found out I had become homeless. I had worked hard for the short period I was there and gave everything they demanded as quickly and efficiently as I could just for them to terminate me for reasons out of my control. As soon as the Director, Nancy, was told I was living in hotels due to my mobile home being crashed into by a snowplow (enough to have left damage making it unlivable) she fired me. It did not matter how good of a worker I was for them, she discriminated against me due to my currently living hardships and in turn making life in general much harder after letting me go. I had even turned down other positions for this job just to be treated in this way. On top of all of this, I still have not been paid for my time there AND Nancy tried to cut down the hours I would get paid. Are these the kind of people you want teaching your kids? Lacking empathy and basic human compassion, sexist, do you really want your kids growing and learning from an environment and people like that? Trust me, if you love or care for your child, you will go elsewhere because they don't care about your child just the money they bring in.

The way the school progresses the kids through their classroom system is brilliant, keeping each kid with their own age group and abilities. Nevan has always looked forward to each day at school and literally runs through the front door each day to whichever classroom he's been in. To go along with this our older two kids had attended a different daycare/preschool which we were very happy with at the time. Due to live changes our middle guy and youngest had to start attending a different school (Wonder Years). While we were extremely happy with our original daycare we quickly saw how much Wonder Years blew it out of the water in comparison. Wonder Years also made it extremely easy for our middle guy to transition from his original school. He quickly made new friends, which he still has to this day and enjoyed his last year of preschool there which prepared him greatly for kindergarten. Thank you Karen and staff for taking such great care of our kids. Due to the nature of work/life you spend a lot of quality time with our kids and we have a great piece of mind knowing that they are in your hands when they are not with mom and dad.
