This time I came prepared and brought a reference photo to clearly show the style we were hoping for. When I arrived to pick him up, I was asked to pay immediately and even left a tip before I saw him. When they brought him out, I was shocked -- he looked nothing like the reference picture I had provided. I calmly gave my feedback and explained that this was not the result we were hoping for. The groomer came out and said, "Sorry, I did the best I could. He moves around too much and I don't think he is a good dog for grooming." In other words, the problem was blamed on the dog rather than the result of the grooming. Our dog has been groomed before, including when he was younger, without any issues. She then told the front desk to "just give her a discount if she's not happy with the cut." I explained that I wasn't sharing my feedback to ask for a discount -- I simply wanted them to understand that the result was not what we had discussed. They offered a discount for a future service, but I told them we would likely not be coming back. At that point the groomer responded with "Good luck!" and shut the door as she walked away. I have honestly never experienced anything like that in my life. The person at the register apologized and mentioned that the groomer is "going through a lot right now," but that does not excuse such unprofessional behavior. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, both in terms of the grooming result and how the situation was handled.

It is a fancy golf course type of town which is still developing. Here you can still buy luxury properties at much lower prices than you can in other South Florida cities. The town center is built around a ginormous Catholic Church which is a site in itself. As the name suggests, this is very Catholic town. This also means they don't sell condoms or any kind of birth control which is very obvious when you see that most families there have about 4-5 kids. The town is also home to its own university. As it is still developing, there are more and more shops opening up such as a recently opened gaming shop with arcade and an indoor playground.
