At first I was given some bad information from one of the workers there and I gave them a bad review on yelp. Dylan contacted me after reading my review and told me about the discrepancy where my information was taken but not given to the right people. Needless to say, he was determined to make up for the error on the companies behalf. He was more than willing and helpful to ensure that all of my questions were answered and that there was no obligation even after the estimate was given. He stayed in touch with me throughout the whole process and it was a smooth transition from destination to destination. Sam and Tyler were on time, respectful, and moved at a safe fast pace. Sam gave me a courtesy call before they departed and explained all the paperwork thoroughly before I signed anything. Throughout the moving of my belongings they asked questions to ensure it was what I wanted, along with relocating things I preferred in a different area of the house. Tyler was a bit taller so he was able to place some stuff on the shelves I wouldn't of been able to reach on my own. They both advised great ideas that gave me the opportunity to decide what would work best for me around the house. Furthermore, after the job was complete, they reassured I didn't need help with anything else because there was a few more things in the garage that were heavier. The JVA moving crew were meticulous in packing our belongings- it was dumping rain and they wrapped just about everything we owned to ensure it did not get wet; we didn't even have to ask, they just did their thing! And FAST. The load and unload time was extremely impressive, and the men who worked on our move- Tom, Cale, and Tyler, were so respectful and considerate- totally went above and beyond. They didn't have shoe covers & damaged our carpets. They refused to move a dresser they said it was too heavy (it was 164lbs per manufacturer's website). They couldn't get a couch through the door; had to call my Dad over to get it in after they left. Due to life hitting me like a bunch of bricks I wasn't able to be fully packed like I usually am, so I sprung for the full service move and they handled my items and possessions as if they were their own. They packed my old apartment quickly and efficiently, at our new place they dropped boxes in the correct rooms, asked for guidance on some furniture and even set up our beds and labeled certain boxes to be opened first (for things that you'd need quickly, like food in the kitchen, or personal items for the bathrooms). While I hope not to need their service for a while because I'm in love with my new place, if and when we need to move again we will always reach out to them first! They Called us promptly at 0900 and stated that they were to be here in a few minutes. Communication was amazing! This is our first time working with movers so my fiancé and I were a little nervous. When we met Justin Bell and Gus, they had made the whole experience and transition so nice! I was very impressed of how quickly they had moved all of our items and furniture to the moving truck!
