The photos truly capture the love, joy, and fun of the day! It rained nonstop all day, but they were very professional and kept everyone having fun despite the circumstances...and the photo results speak for themselves! An added bonus is that David and Katie are so much fun and pleasant to be around. Couldn't have picked two better people to follow me around nonstop all day! :) Engagement Session: David shot our engagement photos the other day. It was cold for April, but he had a great sense of humor and made the whole thing a really fun experience. Not only was it fun, but he also really knew what was doing. He instructed us how to pose, but in a way that captured our natural chemistry and goofiness as a couple. The natural light he used for almost all of our photos made them look magical. The quality of the photos is excellent and we had a great time taking them - can you ask for anything else? Oh, and he showed up early and has so far been very reliable! I am so excited for our wedding and so glad we went with David as our photographer!

Stephanie was SOOOO wonderful for our TWO-day Indian/Western wedding! She always went above and…read morebeyond and kept us in the loop from the very beginning. She was professional, adorable, so optimistic, timely, and so easy to work with throughout the entire process! Her photos are extremely unique (they look like they're straight out of a wedding magazine) and we have received many many comments about how wonderful her shots were. She was heavily involved in the wedding planning process beyond just photography including timelines, advice, and encouragement (which I think is the most important in the wedding planning process). Her standards for herself and for everyone around her are well above every other photographer we encountered and it shows in her work. On the wedding day, she was engaged, organized, and led our entire team of vendors including our wedding coordinator throughout the day's events even though we did not expect her to do so. She even edited some of our portraits form the wedding day and had them displayed during the reception!!! People were OBSESSED! With that being said, we received both our engagement and initial wedding photos with an unbelievably fast turnaround time and this is something we really value! We are so incredibly grateful for everything she did to make our wedding experience so PERFECT and will highly recommend her to everyone!!!

You get the picture (horrible pun not intended). For this year's Pride (2014), I was given an amazing space on the patio, nestled in between the DJ, the dancefloor, and the drinks. I just *had* to do something fun. I thought -- what better way to remember such a fun night than with a great photo booth? I had seen The Awesomatic's ads in my Facebook feed (you know, the ones with Jeni's head popping out), so I decided to shoot them an email. Lo and behold, they were free the Friday night of Pride, and they were happy to accommodate me. After a few back and forth emails with the owner, Levi (who I'm pretty positive I've called Eli... sorry!), we had a plan for the Pride photo booth. Levi was super laid-back and easy to work with. In fact, I was the hot mess customer who was slow to answer emails and kept asking them if they could stay longer at the event -- but they handled it all beautifully. If you've never seen The Awesomatic, let me tell you -- it's no ordinary photo booth. This one's magical. Why, you ask? It's not the super creative backdrops they can make, or the crazy friendly staff, or even the designs they can print directly on the photos... nope, it's the machine itself that really makes the magic happen. The Awesomatic is a free-standing computer/camera combo where you can see yourself before the picture is taken! In other words, you and your friends can get in the silliest poses and look amazing in your pictures -- because you know exactly how you'll look before photo is ever taken. It's a big, digital screen that you control yourself -- when you take the picture and how many you take. Once you've taken the best new profile picture, you'll get a printed photo and will later have access to it digitally. There's just something about The Awesomatic that encourages people at your event to have fun. I absolutely cannot wait to hire them again! PS Shout-out to my boy, Austin, the most awesome photo booth attendant ever. He was a trooper and worked the Pride patio for like 8 hours!

And, The Drop was just pure luck--great way to end the afternoon! Our enthusiastic, interactive hosts, Megg & Calvin, led us through each game--every step of the way--and did fantastic jobs of treating us like real game show contestants. I experienced the raucousness of this experience through a company team building and mission accomplished. Our group had about 75 minutes of time in the "Prime Time" room which was ample time to play takes on Family Feud, the Match Game, and more physically interactive games like bean bag toss, spoon flipping and flip cup. Maximum fun in a great atmosphere, and the staff's energy and on stage personas really envelop you in the game shows experience. The "Classics" room that we did not experience reportedly had takes on the Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune, which.... sign me up for that next time!

I took my two young daughters here for open play. It was not that busy and the staff was very…read morefriendly. I really like the fact that the place is well-staffed because there are a lot of opportunities for bad things to happen. With so many employees on hand (and friendly and helpful as well!), I didn't feel like my kids were in danger. The majority of the activities are for kids older than my own, maybe for ages 5-12? My 3 year-old could do some of the obstacle courses and the small kids' bounce house. My 17 month-old could do the small bounce house and I took her down two of the slides, but it was not easy to get up while carrying a small child. There are many bounce houses and inflatable slides, a trampoline, a small laser tag maze, and other related things. There is also a small children area with giant blocks and childrens' toys, but not much else. I thought $9 was a bit steep for two hours (or less) of play and was surprised they don't have longer periods of play time. But my daughters enjoyed their time there and I would probably go back when they are a bit older. It's worth checking out. As I mentioned, the staff was great and made my daughters' experience great.
