Initially walking in I thought it was a little hokey, but once the guys starting talking and getting our teams revv'd up, it was stellar!! They did such a great job. The Mc's were the best and kept things going. Wish it was a little better priced as it really only to me makes sense once in a while. That being said I hope the pay those guys a decent portion because they were the ones that made it so great!!! Great job Calvin and Garrett!!

Game Show Battle Room is a great time for a large group. I recently played with 11 friends. We started by drawing chips from a hat which divided us into 2 teams. You then pick your team name and player names and head into the game room. There are 2 game room options. One of the rooms I was told was more physically active type games. We choose the other room which you play multiple rounds based on popular game shows like The Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune, Password, and Family Feud. It was a lot of fun getting to spin the Wheel of Fortune-esq wheel and drop the disco into the giant Plinko-esq game! The games were hosted by 2 energetic hosts. One who takes on the Bob Barker role and the other tally's the points. The guy that does the Bob Barker role was particularly entertaining and energetic. He really added a lot to the experience. Remember to spade or neuter your pets!

We had a blast here! I booked online and took my four kids and a friend. The site is easy to use and if you have any problems, you can always give them a call. They do want you to show up about ten minutes before your scheduled time because it will take a few minutes to get everyone ready and explain the rules. Our hosts were Valem and Chris (I could be wrong on his name). They made this experience so much fun and their energy was infectious! Valem was great with everyone including the younger boys and was an epic host! We chose Classic Showdowns which includes games Spin and Solve similar to WoFortune, Survey Battles similar to FFeud, and What's That Cost similar to the show that was hosted by Bob Barker and Drew Carey. We will definitely go back and try Primetime Showdown! So you get to spin a giant wheel and then try to solve the puzzle but this game has a couple twists which are fun. You'll even get to drop a puck into a Plinko like board. They have pricing games as well. The winning team got to hold up a trophy and take some pics! The whole thing was engaging and interactive from start to finish and our hosts definitely elevated the experience! If you're looking for something fun for groups then you need to check this out! They can accommodate very large groups too so if you need a team building activity or want to get together with a lot of friends then you should add this to your list.

20 coworkers played the Primetime games today at Game Show Battle Room and it was a great experience. We started with everyone grabbing drinks from their minibar: beer, high noons, cider, soft drinks, and water bottles were available. Then they split us into 2 teams of 10 and we named our teams and ourselves. Chip Dippins and Garret did a great job as host and tech for our 90 minute game session. We played 3 types of games and everyone got to participate. Energy was high, some things were a bit cheesy and pun based, but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. All of the game items and the rooms were clean and neat.

My office went here tonight for an early holiday party. We had an absolute blast!!! Nathan & Ash were hilarious and kept the energy level going through the whole game. We loved all the games and the playful competition. We would definitely recommend this to any group looking to have an awesome time!!!

While perhaps not necessarily my "thing," (too loud, too much "manufactured" FUN..) rather than be my usual "stick in the mud," I decided to meet up with here with some friends on a recent Saturday afternoon and have some FUN... Our group split into two teams and we "battled" against each other through a series of popular TV game show scenarios. We had a lot of fun with pseudo Wheel of Fortune, Price is Right (plinko!!) and more. Great for a group of friends or an office "team building" event. "Come on Down!!" You might just be a BIG WINNER.... ;-)

Had an AMAZING time last night at Game Show Battle Room. I had no idea what I was going to as I was invited for a friend's birthday. They have a mini bar in the lobby and it's kind of expensive. The high noons were $8. The game show is setup with a bunch of popular game shows like wheel of fortune and name that price. It was so fun!! We were put into two different groups by picking chips out of a hat. We also got to pick our own team name and Alana, one of the hosts picked emojis for us. Each game, we went through each player on the team so everyone got to participate. It was amazing. The game is great for all ages, we had a baby who obviously couldn't play but also a grandma. The hosts Alana and Chip Dippins were fantastic hosts and brought the energy up in the room. This is a must try in Columbus. Great for large parties but kind of pricey. I wish we could have paid for like a group for the time we were there but instead it was $37.57 with tax. It should be like $100-$150 for as many people as you want as the more people did not affect the time we played or how the hosts treated us.

It was getting within a week of the date and I still didn't get a confirmation. I called the place AT LEAST 12 times and sent 2 emails and still no response, because the mailbox was full and nobody ever answered the phone. Since I was bringing 8 people, I needed to confirm. So I drove to the place (which was supposed to be open, but was closed) and left a note, written on a napkin (saying PLEASE CALL AND CONFIRM) and placed it under a rock in front of the door. I spent at least an hour, if not more, trying to confirm this party. After the note, I finally got a phone call. NO APOLOGIES for the inconvenience were given. The person just said that there phones weren't working. Additionally, the painting instructor was very kind, but young and NOT VERY INSTRUCTIVE. She said, "Paint flowers at the bottom." Well, I want to know HOW to paint flowers! My painting looked like a 5 year old. When I went to another studio in Worthington about a year ago, I left with a beautiful painting because the instructor gave us all very detailed instructions and SHOWED us how to paint, instead of TELLING us what to paint. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

I'd rate the difficulty as medium to difficult. Even though we needed a few clues along the way, it never took away from the fun--in fact, it kept the game moving and made the experience even more enjoyable. This was one of the most fun escape rooms we've done, and we'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a challenging and entertaining adventure!

The service here has always been exceptional. Breakout along with other companies are moving away from the standard key and combo locks and integrating more "magic" as one of the hosts called it. More moving parts and ones that just open automatically when a puzzle is solved which is much more fun so if you haven't been in a while I'd say this is your cue to book a new room. My favorite room at this location was Do Not Disturb which doesn't exist in Ohio anymore but most recently we did Museum Heist. It was engaging with clues that could be solved by kids and adults. We had a party of five and made it out in time with our youngest player being 13. The clues are fun and challenging and the hints are given on a TV screen when you ask for them. I do prefer the ones where you can just speak to the host but these hints are specific to what you ask, you just may have to walk to the other room to see the TV. That is the only slightly negative thing I have to say because we love this company! If you've never been then this is a good place to start because they all seem passionate about escape rooms and making sure people enjoy it. For anyone who has done multiple escape rooms or plans to, you should check out the Morty app if you don't have it already!
